My brother is always bitching about not having any money and asking for some but when I offer him some easy money jobs he declines. In a sense you are right but in this society you will get nowhere if you refuse to work cause you want to made Stalin proud. And on top of that they always want something. They may not be full on materialistic but they want something to own like that Nintendo switch which they would get next to nothing if they did live in a true communist state. At least my other friend who is also a commie does try to look for jobs and is somewhat more aware of how the world works. Problem is he is an idealist and that the system will work perfectly like if we were all like ants and somehow expect no corruption to happen. The problem in communism is that the centralized forces are easy to corrupt and nearly impossible to stop that corruption cause of all the power in the center. That and people want to move ahead, why work harder when you will get nowhere? Thats why communists always had memorable propaganda campaigns, to keep the people working.
