>>do you still live with your parents
i wish
Me too. I want my own place for christ's sake
I wanted to magically move out at 18 too, but now I'm 19 and a half and I realize it'll take atleast till im 25.
25
No, they moved out about a month ago.
This except I picked myself up by the boot straps, got a job at the same place as my dad and I now have an apartment and plenty of savings at 19 and half
>18
>yes
When I was 16 I had plans of moving out at this age but holy fuck has reality hit me and it'll take a couple more years
24
They live with me actually.
They fucked their lives into supreme debt. My brother and I bought a house after I worked a professional job and saved money for two years.
They moved in with us and have been paying a small stipend for rent.
>23
>yes
I seriously don't get why people move out of their parents house. Then what? They just have a house with an empty room in it that you could be using for free. When I was born my parents still lived with my grandparents in the house my mom had lived in for like 50 years. Moving out is a meme.
>at the same place as my dad
Trust fund babby with well connected parents out.
>28
>lived on my own for a while but moved back in after a serious injury
I pay for my own stuff and help with the bills and stuff.
I'm 25, I moved out at 19. It was probably a pretty dumb move as I've been broke ever since, but I'm glad I traded financial security for independence
I wanted to because although I get on well with my parents, I felt I didn't really have any identity in of myself while living under their shadow. By moving out I was able to better understand who I was. I think standing on your own two feet like that is a reason in of itself
>22
>yes
I was hoping I would be on my way out by now, but I might be here for a couple more years. I didnt want to be a loser, I wanted to be successful.
>19
>no, moved out this year
What do you do for a living to make it?
StudeNEETbux
>21
>yes
I'm desperate to get out. Hopefully when I finish my degree I'll be able to afford living alone in this shit hole
23
Still in college, pursuing law
But at times yes, only during winter break.
>25
>yes
I moved out for work, saved up the equivalent of a small fortune for a single man with no real bills
30k + some bitcoins / stocks is dank
basically using finacial aid and going to college for extra income until I graduate, at which point I will try to find another job and move out
desu I'm not in a hurry to move out, just live with one parent and they leave me alone aside from occasionally eating diner together
26
no, been living on my own since I was 22
but still in really good terms with parents, we see each other every other day, often they come eat at my house and stuff
>28
>Yup
I'm going to kill myself when my mom dies or can no longer support me.
>live with one parent and they leave me alone aside from occasionally eating diner together
Same here, but I'm on disability so we chat while I'm cooking or cleaning sometimes. Helped him paint the upstairs recently. Looks nice now. Mostly keep to my bedroom and the bathroom next to it though.
>picked myself up by the boot straps
>got job from daddy
hhhhmmmmmm
I have pretty much the perfect situation
>moved out to an apartment complex literally a block away
>but my parents let me come back whenever I want as often as I want
I'm at their house now, but if I wanted I could go to my place at any time. But what would I fucking do there? It's a Sunday evening ffs.
gud thread, although studentmaxxers and trust fund babbys don't count.
10/10 if troll 1/10 if unironic
twenty-five
yes
24 and I still live with my parents.
I'll move only if I change workplace in some place too far from home or if I find a qt with whom I could live.
Until then, I don't see the point.
>20
>only during breaks from uni but they're paying for uni
What, do you hang out with your parents or something?
>19
>no
I wish i was still living at home. I can't cook, doing chores sucks ass and im lonlier than ever.
The only positive is that i can get drunk alone without them knowing.
46
yes, but I help my parents with errands
>20

Yes
I helped them buy the house. Should be moving out in a year.
how are your parents still alive
>22
>yes
Still not done college even though I started at 18 (failed a year). I have only 2k saved up because I spent the rest on video games and anime merchandise that I am saving for my new place I move into which I have not found and can afford yet..
23
I'm in my first year of college and I'm considering moving in a dorm but I hear it's not worth it.
18
Yes
Planning on heading to a local community college soon, seems pretty good.
After that i'm going to look for 3D Modelling jobs and hopefully move out once i'm financially stable.
Or become a NEET idfk

I have contemplated moving back in. Could save some money while helping out the parents around the house with some of the physical work.
Currently rent a house with a few others. Tired of wasting money on something that I don't own myself or something that isn't accruing value. Don't have the money to buy my own house around here though. Need to find higher paying work.
>23
>nah, the state gives me money and pays for my shitty one room apartment
Can you give me a dollar?

Your image is shit.
Twenty-nine and yes.

I'd be better off with a part time job living with my parents though, or really, any kind of income.
As is, I'm just a means of transferring tax money to an already rich land owner.
23
No, but they pay for my apartment while I'm at uni
>27
>yes
I only have a part-time job that pays minimum wage. I don't really imagine I'll ever move out of home.
24
Yes I still do....but where else I would go anyway?
>30
>yes
I don't make enough to live comfortably in NYC where I work. So I live with mom and commute. It sucks. I'll probably never afford my own place no matter how long I save.
I refuse to get roommates, I refuse to pay some greedy jewish asshole $1700 a month in rent.

They died when i was 60
25, no. They kicked me out 5 years ago.
