took a sort of "find myself" vacation for a week in Colorado and did a fair bit of hiking despite having no experience. this was towards the end of the hike by a lake near the pass and I stopped to eat lunch by it. Beautiful and still crystal clear in my memory

I haven't created in a month or so. The last thing I did was a bad 30-second joke video for a webcomic I like. The guy who makes it shared the comic so a ton of people watched it on Facebook and liked it, but honestly it doesn't matter since it's...well, shitty.
I've had a ton of ideas in the past couple weeks on how to get the ball rolling again but I have no clue how to get people to actually work on shit (especially given that it's Christmastime and everyone's busy)

Gorgeous user, I know all too well how it feels to want to relive the past. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we can only live in the present. Have you thought about taking another vacation? I'm thinking about taking a solo vacation to Norway soon, to work on music and experience the country, as I've always wanted to go there.

i've never been much for poetry but i appreciate the sentiment. I'd of course love to do another trip, but finances and logistics just make it a bit too difficult. What about Norway draws you? I'd love to visit one of the Scandinavian countries or Switzerland, i've always wanted to wander through an alpine forest listening to some black metal.
I agree they're not wholey creative, but it's just what i have to contribute to a thread I usually enjoy. I work on music sometimes but never am really happy with it so it gets scrapped.
