found the sheltered little dweeb who speaks out of his ass and only knows winter from the warm 21C room staring out the window or just pictures of snow. i was a conscript and spent the whole fucking winter camped out in the forest with barely 2 - 3 hours of sleep in a fire heated tent, rest of the 20 hours was spent outside often times passing out from fatigue in the middle of the night when on post in -30. often times i didnt want to live or wake up but i always did and it always felt worse and worse, the cold inside just didnt go away.

It doesn't even take me 15 minutes to chop enough wood to heat my house for a week, and that's if I fire everyday which is not needed.
Buying wood isn't expensive either. A truckload of firewood wont even cost you $200 lol and it will last you several winters and that's the wood that's already chopped. If you just buy logs it's even cheaper, either way both options are cheaper than blasting an electric heater 24/7.
If that's still too expensive just got one of those pellet stoves that you just put woodchip pellets in and it will burn for days.
