The thing is though, you have literally no choice in the matter. The only choice you have is voluntarily or involuntarily. The first step after refusing to comply is a Pit garnishee, which means we take up to 30% of your bank balance. If you still refuse to comply an enduring garnishee notice will be issued, legally obligating your employer to send 30% of your pay check to us every pay cycle, on top of the normal withholding rate for income tax. If it's a large debt legal proceedings will go ahead, and if you run a company a s459e notice (forced insolvency) will be issued and assets will be seized. This may also apply for individuals, not too sure since I don't deal with s459e notices
