If any of you were in a bug out situation which rifle would you prefer a Lever action or a bolt action rifle.

I prefer .30 or for the rest of the world 7.62mm.

I'm used to my Tikka T3 in .308 Win, so those.
If I looked for another caliber, then maybe 6.5x55 Swede. Also relatively common cartridge here. Also very good cartridge.

Definitely recommend the 6.5x55 it is a very accurate round. I would definitely take my 30-30 marlin. It is a very common round here in Althe USA. Also I prefer to bring iron sights over a scope

It depends on the situation.
I'd likely choose neither and pick up an 870 in 12 guage.
