No not at all. As someone who grew up in relatively large family(4 other siblings) within low-income family I would have to say that having plenty of siblings was more helpful me than problematic. Sure my childhood was nothing to gloat about in terms of material welfare but having older brother and sister really helped me in school along socializing with people.
On the contrary, I get very happy when I see large white families (provided the kids are well behaved, not screaming brats).
I do get annoyed when I see large black/hispanic families.
