Factorio, Rimworld, Binding of Isaac, Project Zomboid, Neo Scavenger

Girls Frontline. Actually, I don't know about "thousands of hours," but over the course of a year you might spend God-knows how long on it.

>open steam library
>factorio
>1200 hours played

>proof that the average Jow Forums user is autistic

neo scavenger is a really good one. haven't played for ages. OP should try Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory it runs just fine on a thinkpad. and also old minecraft versions

>UT99
there needs to be a fucking renaissance for this game

Shit man, I still play it weekly.

I'm remember being able to play morrowind pretty well on a shitty three hundred something dollar HP laptop I bought back in 2015. However I did have 8 gigs of ram and relatively decent i5 cpu. I cant remember if it was a duo or quad core.

team fortress 2

oligopoly

Jow Forums and youtube

seconding factorio

Get a GBA emulator and play some GBA games.
I recommend Mother 3.

I played literally every game on NES/SNES/psx/gba/gbc/ds

Mount & Blade: Warband

Amazing game with tons of replay value

My pc dies around 1942-43

Pretty much any Paradox game, it takes some time to get into them, but once you understand the basic mechanics it's really fun

Gekokujo is my jam, but it doesn't run well on my T420 with Intel graphics. Vanilla might be fine, but I haven't tried.

Doom, especially with all those community WADs out there.

paradox games. I have shamefully long times in them. CK2 is good to start with and is very memey if your a redditor who likes that kind of thing. EU4 is the most gamey game and mods make it almost a different game entirely. V2 is good but lacks the replayability.
>hearts of iron 4
Besides this one. HoI in general isnt as replayable but 4 is like a wet turd paradox basically shat out in early access.
The games arent for everyone though. Honestly, theyre all shit outside of multiplayer when they become ok.

M&B can eat up a lot of time too.
Consider joining a wow private server.
Factorio especially with mods

came here to post this, this is the only correct answer.

If you gonna play Paracuck games, the best ones are Hearts of Iron 3 and Vic 2, they are pretty fun, EU4 and CK2 are fine
HOI4 sucks tho
I also recommend Civilization, especially 2 and 4
