For what use?

lifting/test related supps:

Zinc
magnesium
vit D
creatine
whey protein/isolate if you lack protein in your daily intake
dextrose or sugar during/after gym
multivit cant really hurt for the few cents you pay daily.

Sleep/anti cortisol:

melatonin
ashwagandha
st johns wort
valerian root extract

Creatine
It gives you a bit of an edge when it comes to lifting, and gives you a kick in hiit.
You get swole you get a few more reps you get a few more seconds.
Problem is that it leads to bald, it gives slight ED, and if you do any kind of dehydration anything it can kill you.

Vitamins?

Vit B complex
Vit C can megadose this one

Zinc can be used to boost test, seminal volume, and it acts as a natural AI in high doses.

Ashwagandha will boost test and lowers cortisol through the floor. It actually does what people claim weed does. But without getting you high.

'Vitamin' D, creatine and whey protein are the best supplements for basically everyone. You can skip the whey if you eat a massive amount of animal products (meat, dairy, eggs) and you don't need Vitamin D if you live at a low enough latitude and spend a lot of time outdoors.

Amino acids which have been shown to help with muscle gain / retention:
Beta alanine and citrulline malate both boost performance and increase muscle growth if taken about 30 minutes before exercise. Probably best to use them while you are already fed to avoid them being used for energy and then follow them up with carbs right before the exercise and complete protein right after.
Leucine and HMB both trigger muscle protein synthesis and help preserve muscle mass while cutting. Best effects seem to be to take them a little while before having a large meal of complete protein and while 'fueled' with carbs so they don't get scavenged for energy.

Other than those, you need to make sure you get enough electrolytes; I recommend low-sodium salt (sodium chloride and potassium chloride), magnesium malate, and either zinc citrate or zinc picolinate.

If you suffer from depression you should generally use prescribed antidepressants, but if for some reason you are unable to, 5-HTP is probably the best alternative. Don't stack it with anything else which messes with serotonin, such as St. John's Wort.

actually good and has plenty of studies supporting this. choose KSM-66 over Sensoril, former is more for physical health and the latter is more for anti-anxiety. it's not that extreme for everyone. it should go without saying that with supplements that actually do shit, YMMV.

agreed, but evidence is somewhat lacking, mechanism is still unknown. personally, I didn't feel shit from this. definitely not anti-estrogenic, so take something to block aromatase too.

it's also pro-estrogenic. try chamomile tea, which has apigenin. blocks aromatase, enhances rate-limiting step in test production, and has other anti-estrogenic properties. good for relaxation too.

Creatine works, I enjoy it mostly for it's recovery benefits.

Zinc works good for AI and small test increase.

Whey protein iso. Is nessesary.

Nearly every test boosters out there is BS and a waste of money. You'd get better results putting the insane amount of money that stuff costs on actual gear. Yes some work incrediblely well at increasing libidio, which can transfer over to better aggression which can lead to more gains. However, actual base test going up? Not gonna happen, or not enough for it to justify the cost.

The way I see it, if your supplement doesn't do more than just "boost test", or if your supplement tries to boost test by reducing test-->DHT conversion, then you shouldn't pick it up.

This shit grows all over near me. Would rather just make a tincture with fresh stuff. More bioavailable

as someone who fell for the supps meme when I was a lot younger, I have tried A LOT of different stuff. Listing the useless shit is a waste of time, so I'll just list what actually worked, which is a lot less than I would have liked.

Whey: if you can't get/is hard for you to get enough protein in food form, whey is a life-saver. It works and saves time.

Zinc: helps with skin and it will def. boost your libido a bit.

melatonin: helps you fall asleep.

vitamin D: this one I'm not so sure since I can't tell from a subjective point of view if I have seen improvements, however, my doctor said I was very vitamin D deficient and supps worked perfectly to raise levels back to normal.

A few years ago, Ephedrine was OTC. That shit worked very well when stacked with caffeine for an extra push during workouts and killed hunger while cutting. Tolerance develops ultra fast, though.

I really wouldn't know. Not that I noticed. However, vitamin D is highly correlated with sexual health and fertility so there's that. It can't hurt having some supps if you can't get it through natural means.

Came here to post ashwagandha and melatonin. Especially the later saved my life. 5-HTP as well. It's a melatonin precursor but I like taking a pill 1 hour before sleep then 3mg melatonin 30 mins before

5000 is enough when you have deficiency
3000 is enough if want just be sure it's fine

Started taking St. John's wort after some research. Seems pretty conclusive to benefit sleep and mood based on various papers, and better sleep and mood means better gains so why not. I also take vitamin D during the winter and creatine as well.

Any pills for shit regulation? I don't get enough fibre from my daily diet, I probably hit 1/4 to 1/2 most days
