"don't take advice from Jow Forums"

unironically this

I'm not taking your advice faggot

you can build the strength to do a pull-up by doing negatives. this mindset has helped me with a bunch of other exercises as well, such as hand grippers.

Unironically jusy be yourself. It's a meme but there's a lot of wisdom in those words. Learned it the hard way

Don't suck in your gut when bracing. I was nearly passing out during back squats and skipping leg days because of this.

Unironically the sticky

i went from an unremarkable fat sunken lanky goblin to getting hit on regularly, receive compliments from every old acquaintance and gaining confidence I never thought I had inside me

And that was only from losing 56kgs, got even better now that I'm 83kgs of 14% muscle

I may live in a nameless small town fuckhole but man, lifes not so bad anymore, thanks for all the encouragement anons! I really needed it.

Poetry.

kill him before it's too late

just do whatever works best for you, don't believe anything from Jow Forums

>don't skip cardio (it doesn't kill gains, simply eat more)
>don't be affraid of machines
>try to eat as paleo-ish as possible (only drink water, eat plenty of vegetables and avoid processed food, aka food that can't be found "in the wild")
>most supplements are garbage and you don't need whey

given all the answers here it seems like a great place for advice haha

lower body, you got a problem building your your lower body, you got upper lower body, you got the upper body ugl the lower body you uh its hard to build the upper body. if you have the lower body, it's harder to build the upper body, if you have the upper body, it's hard to build lower, so, lower helps
like i said, you have the lower body and you have no upper body you got a problem you got a problem building... wait a minute, you have the upper body and you have no legs, you have the upper body and you have no legs, you got a problem building the legs. you have an upper, you have the lower body, and you dont have the upper body the upper body, it's easier to build. so if you have the lower body, and you dont have the upper body, it's easier to build the upper body, you have the upper body and and you dont have the legs, you got a problem, building the lower body.

...

yea good think i don't spend hours on this mongolian (you) farming forum haha

naw you dont understand. you HAVE, the UPPER body, but you dont have the lower body, you got a problem building downstairs. you got up the dlldldldldlegs on the bottom, it's it's easier to build the top
ehoh if you scooby doo laugh if you have the lower BODY, it's (oh no), if you have the lower body it's easier to build, if you have the lower body scooby doo laugh (dude i just woke up i dont want to have a fucking aneurysm) well just let me say it, if you have the lower body (please don't explain it again) olower body, it's easier to build the top body, if you have the uh the top body, scooby doo laugh and no legs you got a problem scooby doo laugh

Some user posted about insulin resistance and the importance of ingesting carbs ONLY around workouts. Had a huge impact, first time I've clearly gained muscle and lost fat the same time since the noobgains.
The general elitism and insults also spurs me a lot better than the normie pats on the back and golden star you get for barely trying.
I did however get trolled into doing SS for nearly a fucking year so I'm not entirely sure this place has been benefical

It’s not really about what you eat it’s just how much you eat.

Everyone into fitness overthinks diet. Literally just eat enough protein and that’s it.

post body

This is good advice if you are an absolute beginner with very limited motivation and energy to put into things. But there is a ton of low-cost, low-effort diet strategies that will accelerate fat loss and muscle gain just above the minimum effort threshold.
