do this on a decline bench and you're golden, before stop lifting i used to do this with 60lbs and after 10 reps my abs would burn like it was on fire

Or actual pack pain? Might be tight hamstrings, stretch them
Do hanging leg raises and put a dumbell between your feet. Problem solved.
