How frequently should a beginner be training? I've already got a good base from general weightlifting. Is training 5 times per week on the olympic lifts too much? Also, how often should I devote days to front squats? After doing 3x5 heavy front squats I really don't feel like trying any olympic lifts on that day.

so i was dicking around in the gym today since it's my last day there. i hadn't done snatch push presses in a while, so i decided to give them a go. i did 100kg for 1, and i think i could have gone a fair amount higher. my snatch itself though is pretty poor, hanging around 80kg because i suck.
is there some kind of massive imbalance i have, or are snatch push presses just easy?
I can’t do them, they feel way too fucking awkward, I don’t get them either, you’ll never have the bar in any position compared to a behind that of a BT neck press.
This is what I’m talking about, the rom similar to the snatch is so miniscule the only thing I could image it being beneficial for would be overloading, but if that’s the case just work pushpress or overhead squats.

i just walk and jog a bit but i dont do it for cardio i just do it to get out. if you dont want to destroy your knees with cardio i feel like you probably know how to handle cardio in a way that respects the workload your knees can handle. sprinting is probably more useful as a plyometric exercise than as cardio
