Not exactly. It's possible to be very pretty at 5'7, but if you cut your hair short it will look horrible. A tall girl has to have long hair to look feminine at all.

And if you're chubby, the same rule applies. You can be a little chubby and still be pretty, if you have a very pretty face. But your chance at being pretty when you're chubby can't survive a short hair cut.

I just cut my long hair to a little above my shoulders and it feels great. I don't know if I'd do anything as drastic as your picture without testing out a slightly longer length first. You can always go shorter.

What kind of texture is your hair?? curly, straight, wavy or whatever?? That is improtant to consider when cutting your hair. I'd say cut it to just above shoulder length and see how you feel, if you want it cut more then go ahead but 100% go to a hair dresser for a short short cut coz you can't do that yourself properly. Wait a few days between the haircuts to see if you are happy or not. I always feel super ugly after dyeing or cutting my hair but I love it the next day.

I recommend to check out David Kibbe's body types and find out something about your bone structure. My type is "(soft) classic" which means my bones are an equal balance between masculine and femine, neither sharp nor soft. I have some softer features here and there (not bones), hence the soft classic. Overall short hair still let's me look feminine and it depends on the cut as well

I suggest you could buy a wig and see if you like that
