I was an assistant manager for Payless shoes. Eventually their dumbasses closed our more successful sister store and moved their employees over to my store (they had fired my manager months before.)
Then when they did that they told me and my manager I'd be demoted back to PART TIME and he would go lose 5k a year in raises.
I was told I was still receiving holiday pay and my title/pay wouldn't change until the pay period after this current one because our group leader (nice guy) was not putting in that paperwork until the week ended.
Well our district leader found out and put my paperwork through that took me down a pay period early denying me holiday pay on Christmas and New Years and my manager pay for 2 weeks...WITHOUT TELLING ME OR ANYONE.
So I worked and was scheduled as manager assuming holiday pay by my manager for an entire week until I found out I was working for part time pay (8 fucking 50 an hour.)
Also my upcoming severance (stores failing because dead mall so me and manager are only staying for that severance) is now going to be goddamn peanuts and I'll be getting 75 percent less than I thought.
Fuck Payless, fuck my will to work for them, I'll show up 30 goddamn minutes late if I choose now. I worked hard until they fucked me. And this isn't the first time they fuckek me raw.
