Manhattan itself is too expensive to live in unless you make upwards of $80,000, probably more so. Unless your parents were super rich and willing to pay your rent, you wouldn't be able to live there, yourself, especially if you want to keep your NEET lifestyle and live with no roommate.

>especially if you want to keep your NEET lifestyle and live with no roommate.

Oh trust me, I plan to

I have literally not seen the plain happy pepe in forever. Thanks for brightening my mood dude

Shut the fuck up you retarded fucking nigger

sounds like a fucking pipe dream desu

Then how are you going to do that? How will you pay for rent and food, internet and luxuries?

My parents are sick of me and are paying for me to move somewhere, anywhere basically

new york sucks. it's too fucking crowded and everything smells like piss. you also need a lot of money for basic living. overrated cesspool propped up by shitty hollywood movies

like others have said unless you have rich parents willing to fund you youre shit out of luck. i can actually understand the pull of big city life if you are a rich neeet since you can just order in every night or even blend into the tons of people but my brother and a few friends live in NY and all of them pay a ton for rent. my brother lives in brooklyn and pays near 3k a month for a decent place so i assume manhattan will be worse

if you have the money sure why not

How much money are they willing to spend, or even have? If you want to move to Manhattan, or anywhere in NYC without roommates, you're gonna have to get a job. Seriously, man, if you want to keep being a NEET, I would suggest living in a commuter town where you can get a ride or drive yourself to NYC every weekend.

I don't know anything about real estate in New York state, or most places, but if your parents aren't that rich and you insist on never getting a job, you're gonna have to compromise. Which pretty much means living in some cheap, shitty town in NJ where you can commute to NYC and have to deal with living in a depressing, working class, crime-ridden shithole. That, or move to some nowhere town in a cheaper state. One of the flyover states might be your best bet.

What you should do is get a job or train for a good career while your parents are willing to pay for you to move or pay your rent. I'm 27, I live with my dad rent free, but I still work full time as he's semi-retired and couldn't afford to pay everything for me, even if he wanted to.

New York sucks and if you disagree you deserve to suffer the consequences of spending your dispensable wealth there.

There is NOTHING good in New York. NOTHING. It's a fucking giant mall that smells like piss and shit and is full of fucking wops, jews, and blacks. What the fuck do people think they are actually going to find there?

Is this how English people feel about London?

>What you should do is get a job or train for a good career

You'll have to live in the projects in some shithole neighborhood to do that.

seething statecel

t. flyover statelet

Dude, you're 28 you refuse to get a job, want to live off of your parents' money, and refuse to take a roommate, all in MANHATTAN. One of the most expensive places to live in on Earth. This might have been feasible in the 90's, but today, the only people who can afford to live in Manhattan with a good-sized apartment and no roommates are Wall Street types, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, tech executives, etc.

What is your plan for when your parents die and/or you get disqualified from welfare? Because if you already don't have money saved or have a full time job or career, you're gonna be homeless.

If your parents are rich or you are independently wealthy, go for it. Since you're gonna stay in your room 90% of the time it doesn't really matter.

If you are concerned about cost at all, I'd recommend getting a place in North-East NJ. I'm talking like Jersey City/Bayonne. Hoboken is also popular for people who have this idea. You'll be 10-20 minutes away from the city but the cost of living will go down by half.

As a lifelong new yorker you'll probably be much better off in the outer boroughs, and if you're interested in the city you'll still get the experience. Manhattan is crazy expensive but there's still a lot outside of just manhattan.

l'm not working, fuck off jew

Then what is your financial plan? Are your parents paying your rent? Can they afford it? Will your NEETbux cover your rent and groceries without you living paycheck to paycheck?

Seriously, man, the NEET gravytrain only goes for so long.

this is why you wont ever make it in life. to weak to even answer legit questions. what a bitch

TOO weak, fucking retard

God no why would you ever want to leave the Midwest for some shithole like that

still didnt answer the questions user. a typo doesnt change that fact.

Why in the ever loving fuck would you move to a crowded expensive shithole with libeals, niggers, spics, chinks, rats, arabs, trash on the sidewalk, expensive metro fare, smelly train stations, bedbug invested trash center of the North East? Only California is worse in comparison. I blame these shitty movies you people watch as kids that warp your perception on these places.

Lol mental illness. OP gonna be another homeless stat in Manhatten. Nothing anyone says is gonna change this guys mind, because, it's fucking mental illness.

based

honestly you said better than i ever could

nothing you say will ever matter to anyone haha

Man your fugged, so fugged. Repeat this 100x in your head, "If I don't work I will end up homeless, I will have to beg people to get by, around hundreds of other people with no where to go hide away in a nice comfy room."

If that thought doesn't give you anxiety than I don't what else will.

how's it feel to be a virgin in your 20s?

Feels better than being homeless. Although I've never been homeless but I would gladly keep my virginity for literally all the benefits of having a roof over my head, my dude.

Dont worry about my money situation bud ;)

Then Manhatten it is my filthy rich NEET guy.

>Thinks he's tough for using racial slurs.
>Posts moe reaction images.

What did user mean by this?

I lived in the super shitty parts of Manhattan and super shitty parts of Brooklyn for about 5 years. Ask me what you want to know.

Manhattan is hell to live in. Just live in an apartment close to it in Queens.

no not really, though it's expensive and you cannot survive as a neet there; there are much better and more comfy places to be a neet

NYC is overrated, just find a comfy mid-sized city and settle down there.

22 year old Manhattan NEET here. AMA.
