John Carpenter's "The Thing". The practical effects + characters that are actually smart and a plot that doubles as a mystery thriller make it a 10/10 horror movie for me.

Treasure planet.
Its also my fav animated film tied with the iron giant

Enter the void
I like how it made me feel about death

Great choices. There will always be something about "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" that fills my heart like nothing else.

Spirited Away, it's super comfy.

man alot of movies to add to my list potentally from this thread. if im smart i'll watch them over the next few days

Honestly, the only people I know who love this movie are extremely self-righteous, liberal and otherwise bitchy. Unironically. When I was in college a bunch of people wanted me to see a shadowcasting of this movie at the University of Maryland. Cringe central. You have no idea.

Absolutly patrician. Definitely in my top five.

I have actually never seen the Iron Giant, but Treasure Planet was cool enough back in the day.

probably what dreams may come. its what really made me start exploring lucid dreaming...

Either jaws or trainspotting

I was very entertained

Why did I read that as Jews instead of Jaws?
I think I spend too much time on Jow Forums

Scott Pilgrim vs the world or the Princess Bride

I like "the game" with michael douglass

Marley & Me won my respect for some reason. It's always stayed as my favorite

I like that one too, lol.

Favorite thriller, I think "Hateful Eight" was a homage to it, even uses a track.
Bonus for picking best one.

I saw Wake in Fright recently and it's easily one of my favourites now.

Fight Club is the most amazing movie ever made by the human race.Anyone who disagrees is a dickgobbling faggot.

King of comedy
Fanny and Alexander
Austin Powers
Evil Dead 2
Seven samurai
I literally haven't seen it since it came out, now I'm really curious to watch it again
comfy Kino
good pics

I hate to make the comparison, but that film is like Requiem for a Dream with alcohol. There are quite a few structural differences, but the transitions into drug fueled madness are rather similar. Few films really capture the capacity of alcohol to induce absolute insanity like this one. Good choice man, I'll have to watch it again soon.

mine is Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow.

Doesn't matter if you aren't into anime at all. It's a good movie

>there's a brown girl in da ring NAH NAH NAH NAH NAAAAH

My top five:
>Predator
>Phonebooth
>The Thing
>Blade Runner 2049
>The Book of Eli

oh shit, I thought you said Touching the Void. Great documentary, would recommend if you haven't seen it.

Pic related. It's a Byzantine masterpiece dedicated to extrapolating upon the hopeless evil of the world. I can't recommend it enough. A close second would probably be Kubrick's "The Shining". I guess films directed by Jews and starring Jack Nicholson just really appeal to me for some reason. All of these get cosigns too.

LOTR is my favourite
The Shining is second

Bergman's 'Persona'. love it

moon is pretty good, without the internal bleeding it's surprisingly comfy

My favorite movie of all time is Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.

My favorite Bergman film is Magic Flute followed by the Seventh Seal.

>tfw no Tamina gf

Pretty much any film made by Christopher Nolan, like the dark knight, the prestige, memento, inception. They're all very good imo

>checks replies
i think i need to leave again.

>a Byzantine masterpiece
you probably watch this on your GNU/Linux Libreboot portable computer.

Most people are confused by its plot during their first viewing. It's like a Chris Nolan movie, except stylish and haunting and not pseudointellectual Michael Bay shit for plebbitors.

confirmed for also having a pony sticker on it

Nothin quite like this masterpiece
