Girls, specifically girls that are in the range of 18 - 20, are acne a dealbreaker?

And I'm not talking about greasy volcanoes, I'm talking about normal acne and scars on checks and chin. I'm genuinely trying and doing everything I can but it's going slow.

Jow Forums is having a circlejerk again so they ain't helping.

I can tell you as a 25 year old man who's in shape with a decent job in my own apartment who's 6 feet tall but with acne scars on my face that yeah, it's a deal breaker.

Acne scars are really bad friendo, especially on the temples

Hey user, I have acne scarring too. Shitty skin genetics in puberty that made my skin oily as all hell

You can get laser treatment to mitigate it. I used to have some reddish color on a cheek and it's completely gone. It won't cure it, but you'll see improvement

It's really expensive where I'm from. Idk if I want to give that much money to something that may not even help.

I have a bit of acne myself so it'd be hypocritical to have it be a dealbreaker. That being said, cheek acne is pretty bad looking so I guess fix that sooner. But it's still not a dealbreaker.

Remember to do all the standard acne procedures. Drink tons of water, change pillowcases regularly, and wash your face often but not too often (once or twice a day should suffice). If it's just scars, there are soaps and lotions that help fade them out there, like ones with kojic acid inside.

Good luck user

It's pretty much just acne and redness, I don't have those big pimple things

Thank you

In that case, it might be hormonal or you're just touching them too often. Chin acne is usually hormonal so if you're younger it'll go away in a few months or years.

I meant to type acne scars* shittt

Oh, then yeah just try to get some scar fading stuff. Vitamin C also helps with that, just actually get a formulated product and don't just rub a lemon on your face. And remember to use sunscreen if you go out because the sun is basically a deathray for your skin and will hinder any healing

So, - soap my face with good soap for face ( I heard Dove is good, right? )
- sunscreen
-Vitamin C

Not OP but also want to know, help us answer

Kaiji ultimate survivor crying, Johan Liebert from monster

Ye another user said it but that's anyway!

I love that picture, all my favorite characters

use toothpaste to get rid of acne without scars (it basically dries the skin and the acne falls off w/o bleeding) life tip for y'all

I don't have that much acne in terms of round volcanoes that stick out that you can pop. Mostly scars and redness

If this is bait then congratulations I'm taking the entire bucket.

To answer OP's original question, yes, it probably is. Any flaw you have is an excuse women can leverage against you. They'll never admit to it but all women resent you for not being 6'4 Gigachad. I don't want to discourage you from going out there, or to make you feel insecure about your appearance, but if you're going to walk into a minefield you ought to be prepared for the consequences.

I wouldn't say so as long as you aren't a pizza face. Also if your actual face itself isn't that bad looking (I mean like bone structure) it shouldn't be that big a deal. When I was in HS (later on though, like senior year) i knew/saw plenty of guys with acne that got gfs.

ahh okay idk how to deal with scars and redness, but the toothpaste is like magic for those white pimples that pop up, big or small, makes them disappear in an hr or so without scars

18 yo here
No it's not because i had horrible acne when i was 15 and i can totally empathise with the shame and suffering. A lot of girls are the same i'm sure. It would be terrible to judge someone for something you also have.
Mine disappeared when I took a medication called roaccutane in my country.

I'm already pretty messed up I don't want to get even more depressed with accutane.

Don't even know if it's available in my country.

Yep, just don't overwash your face because it can dry your skin out. Consider some face lotion too in case it's the dryness that's causing it.
I usually use japanese/korean skincare since it's usually formulated better/ is gentler but whatever you can get will work as long as it doesn't cause your skin to break out more.

I think my problem is that it's too greasy not too dry

Mine as well OP and I don't know what to do, my nose becomes an oil field.
