If you want a nice apartment, you'll need to at least be making 20 an hour to live comfortably.
Ask me anything OP.
Been there, done that.
Dad pointed pistol at me, i was 18 already, decided it was too much, left home, nowhere to go.
Homeless for one year, joined the military, lived in that hellish military base for two fucking years.
RIght now i'm overseas, making money, need to buy a house, one more year in this hell and i am finally free.
You can do it user, just take the risk, close your eyes and shallow the pain.
You fonna have to whisper louder
I honestly just want a cheap studio apartment, utilities included. Dont even need a kitchen. Microwave and a minifridge will suffice.
Dont be scared to ask questions, just get your rates first, then let the landlord guide you though the process. Its better to ask too many questions then not enough.
OP how much do you make? Do you have a job?
It felt like an impossible goal for me until I was forcefully removed.
Not currently and im not qualified for much. I had a fast food job and a job sorting clothes at goodwill, i hated both of them.
What are rates? Like the cost of things?
you have 3 choices
1) Become homeless and most likely die on the streets
2) Receive welfare and live in ghetto with the scum of man kind
3) Rot in your parents house.
its your life man.
I know people meme about it but you could try Walmart. Its 11 an hour, and as long as you can swallow the bull shit, it's not THAT bad.
I worked warehouse 3rd shift there for almost two years before I had to leave of alcoholism but while that was one of my better jobs I've had the dairy guy on 3rd shift seemed to be pretty decent as well.
Yea but $11 an hour doesnt seem like you can afford an apartment with that.
Well no, but its entry level, its somewhere to start, and itll get some experience under your belt.
The other option is roommates. I lucked out pretty hard because I live with my sister and some other girl who is hardly around. Living with women is much nicer instead of loud obnoxious weed lmao guys.
Dont roommates expect each other to be gone all the time to stay out of each others hair? I never go out and just want to stay inside and play vidya all night alone.
Well our current situation is that my sister is a student so school starts up again on Monday, she'll be gone lots, the other girl works all day and spends the evening at her bfs. I rent the basement suite so I've got my battle station and headset, I'm hardly noticable. My last job I left for three months so they had the place to themselves.
Same but it seems like getting a job that's not complete shit is insurmountably difficult
This is the biggest difficulty. Its hard to find a entry level job that will pay enough or eventually pay enough to live on your own even on a budget.
OP you could try factory work. Lots of hours, average is 15 an hour starting off.
Will they take no experience?
