A positive family history of schizophrenia significantly increases the risk that you'll have a psychotic episode when using recreational drugs - meth and synthetic cannabis are the worst but even normal weed and babby-tier hallucinogenics can trip you up. Some people might experience brief psychotic episodes only when they use but for others the drugs act more like a trigger, even when they leave your system the psychotic symptoms can remain. And just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't happen with continued use.
I'd suggest going to see a doc and talking things through with him in case you're overreacting.
I'd also strongly suggest avoiding recreational drugs in the future.

Im bipolar type 1 with psychosis and I have a meaningful life to me. Normies will never be able to empathize with our struggle. But you can gain understanding from things like these that they never will. Also I would recommend trying to take your meds. They really can help.
