i like his transformation. his success has caused him to actually reevaluate things as he grew up into kinda more mature person in general. basically at one point he started seeing "how bad things really are", he might've went some sort of depressing episodes where he felt that his life was going nowhere and shitty things he saw that were happening around him, made him kinda question everything. he's always been a good guy so it was only natural for him to come have come out this way.

Depends a lot on video subject, but generally he's doing a lot of "comedic" overacting and has a dry, normie sense of humor. I think the main reason he's maintained popularity after mostly having stopped doing the sort of "lets play" content he got famous for is that he's fairly self-aware and down to earth.
