How do deal with the fact that people who are horrifically immoral are also incredibly successful, wealthy and desirable? It's as if society is set up in such a way that only the most soulless manipulators can truly rise to the top.
What's the solution? How do you personally deal with it?
>What's the solution? there isn't one, as long as human nature is a selfish mentality instead of a communal one. >How do you personally deal with it? i dropped out.

Totalen krieg, kurzeste krieg!
Levi Diaz
It's less so the fact people are selfish and moreso the fact people are easily tricked
Christian Campbell
regardless, the majority of people care about themselves first to the point of harming others for their own benefit.
most people are myopic. this is the problem.
Asher Russell
Stop caring about the world. Whogives a shit if all these dumbasses rot their brains or fuck over random people at increasing rates. Take care of yourself and your people. Fuck the rest.
Nathaniel Martinez
This has been the biggest problem on my mind of late, how do I justify participating and taking seriously a system that seems to reward evil and soulless manipulation, rewards marketing and lies and punishes making a good honest product. I'm not sure what to think, and obviously it's not as black and white as I painted it, but who are the people who generally sit at the top who have won the money game?
Jonathan Turner
What the fuck does this mean?
Get a generic job and make mediocre money while people are taking advantage of every system around you for their own perodnal gain while being praised?
Daniel Foster
Congratulations, you have experienced the epiphany of "life is unfair"
Noah Green
In a few years you'll even be old enough to legally drink!
Blake Lopez
Are you being sarcastic or do you legit not know
Isaiah Smith
>how do I justify participating and taking seriously a system that seems to reward evil and soulless manipulation, rewards marketing and lies and punishes making a good honest product That's why I don't feel so bad being neet. I think of myself as neutral at worst, because at least I'm not feeding evil. I'm trying to figure out a way to be self-employed with no reliance on any questionable products or platform, that's the only way to go for me.
Daniel Russell
I asked the question because of the answer it brings to mind, of course I know, that's why I'm so bothered about it. How am I supposed to "to just take care of myself and my family" on some mediocre income and to just be complacent when I'm aware of the people who cheat their way around this and are rewarded for it?
Kevin Sanchez
I was just curious, couldn't tell if you were being deliberate or not
Luke Myers
Here. I'll predict his answer for you.
>durr da joos >larp larp larp muh revolution >I pack boxes for a living and will live the rest of my miserable life waiting for someone to start a revolution
Logan Evans
You do just that because any alternative either sucks even more or isn't realistic. Be glad you lasted this long living in blissful ignorance, it only gets worse.
Julian Cruz
It's fine, maybe I wasn't clear enough about that in my post.
Camden Brown
>because at least I'm not feeding evil lol yes you are
Jason Clark
>How do deal with the fact that people who are horrifically immoral are also incredibly successful, wealthy and desirable? By realizing they are not successful, wealthy, or desirable.
You're right. I don't grow my own food or buy it from moral people so I'm not innocent.
Jacob Bailey
Its hard to deal with when it exists on even the most basic level. You're practically told to be dishonest as career advice for landing even an entry level job.
>you have to market yourself! >use buzzwords that make you sound like the absolute best person in the world! >some of those words include honesty, sincerity and integrity! nvm that mentioning those qualities directly contradicts all the bullshit you wrote to sell yourself in the first place unless you're actually the grade A super man everyone else has to pretend to be
James Morgan
>punishes making a good honest product This is a misconception. Good honest products aren't punished so much as...pressured and unrewarded until they fall in line. Due to the way corporations work it's inevitable. You stay a private company and you only make so much profit because you only make so much money and can't expand as much. Then you go publicly traded and can get massive influxes of money that allow you to expand and potentially profit a lot more but now you are beholden to shareholders and become legally obligated to maximize profit at the expense of all else.
I think the root of it is that a business is legally obligated to maximize shareholder profit. If businesses could tell shareholders to go fuck themselves, the business environment could look a lot differently

>video games were just a gateway to introduce this new ultra anti-consumerist products. >go to the doctor >get drugs >1/1000 chance of getting the right drugs >go to school >1/1000 chance of getting the right information >go to gas station >1/1000 chance of getting gasoline
or pay 5000 times the price and reduce your chances to 1/10
1.Thats how life has always been 2.Ever wonder why your whole family would instantly hate you if you talk badly about Jews? 3.Do you honestly think people from another religion, having to watch their entire cities celebrate Christmas/ other christian holidays every year don't grow massive resentment towards you and your country?
