For all its fault, Japan is far superior to western living.
>Attractive, decent women >Family values >Non-degenerate liberalism >Non-SJW popular culture >Culture >History >Tech giant >Interesting rural and city life >Superior infrastructure >National rail system >Good parts of western society with none of the bad
I mentioned nothing about Anime. I just used an anime pic because it was all I had right now and I had to post this.
Adam Perez
>Durarara
Good taste in anime OP.
Owen Garcia
yes, but do you know the definition of weeaboo?
Brody Adams
Doesnt make it not true. Originally that is.
Jose Jenkins
I wish I had been born in Japan but not for any of the autistic conservashit reasons in your post. >not cut up penis >beautiful language >can opt to literally just live in the mountains and still be somewhat social >martial arts scene, and the possibility of actually being properly trained from a young age
Joseph Fisher
>economic recession >deflation >ultra wagecuck culture >government debt crisis >aging society due to low birth rates
Sorry but currently Japan has no future to speak of.
Jaxson Watson
No I'm in damage control and no matter what anyone says I'm happy with coming to this point in my life and being born and raised the way I was. I don't think I would mind being a westerner in Japan.
Hunter Reed
>conservashit
I said I wanted to live in a liberal society.
Jason Gray
Same difference. I want nothing to do with western civilization at all and the way you're talking about it was off putting
Julian Long
I do not understand? A liberal government is not the problem, provided they actually look out the people (whites).
Nathaniel Mitchell
they look out the people?
Kayden Bailey
you forgot about natural disasters
Gabriel Reyes
At least in Japan they have a liberal ethnostate. Liberalism with some traditional values is great. It is social justice, minorities and degenerates that ruin things.
Levi Williams
>>Attractive, decent women over exaggeration >>Family values >>Non-degenerate liberalism yet >>Non-SJW popular culture yet >>Culture will be eroded when the previous 2 happen >>History again give it time >>Tech giant >>Interesting rural and city life soon to be gone forever once (((they))) get their way >>Superior infrastructure same as prior point >>National rail system >>Good parts of western society with none of the bad but they are starting to falter and get swayed by (((them)))
Jackson Bailey
Super rough job culture. But the people are better. I wish I could get along with people like I did with a Japanese buddy who came to Canada.
The guy was a great friend, unfortunately he hated how rough work culture was back home. He said he would be required to work overtime without extra pay just to keep a job because of poor regulations enforcing payment for overworking.
Idk, culture here is kinda ass and I have a hard time getting along with people.
Jose Murphy
I live in Japan now, and I know people living here for years too, marrying japanese woman. It's pretty cool here, but not perfect.
There are many cool things, such as it is a safe country (if you exclude natural disasters), it is clean, and people have some kind of exterior politeness.
But as a foreigner, you will most likely be exclude for real japanese life. My friend, even being now citizen and having a child here can get close friends here.
I also agree on the rail system, but you forget to say that it is expensive as fuck. And personnaly if I want to travel, I need to take night bus because shinkansen is out of my reach.
So actually, Japan is like any other country. Just travel and you'll feel the same. First you think everything is better than your homeland because you're obsessed with the differences. But when you stay longer you begin to realize the bad points, and plotwist, they are as numerous as good points.
And you know, you can find culture, history and interesting rural life in any country on this planet.
Isaac Howard
Yeah try and find something interesting in bumfuck nowhere, Missouri, besides me and my weeaboo shit
William Bennett
>Does Jow Forums wish they had been born in Japan? No, I am proud of my European heritage. I love Japan, I'm learning Japanese, and will move to Japan if the west keeps getting worse. I don't wish I was Japanese.
Elijah Carter
>wageslavery to the next level kek, japs are hardly human
Adam Miller
It is not that there is nothing, it is rather that you hate the place you live.
But I can feel you bro, that's why I moved too. But realistically for sure interesting things are everywhere in my opinion.
Because honestly, I've been to small cities in Japan, like Otsu last week for instead. The main street litteraly doesn't even have street light during the night haha So not that interesting ever!
Tyler Garcia
Keep dreaming, gook dog.
Jackson Walker
Yeah I mean there's the bias of me hating this shithole but still it's impossible for anything to be interesting here. It's just not a place where interesting things are.
Yet even in some remote place like what you're describing, I bet I could find a karate institution or some mountains to hike in that aren't coated in misery like in North America
Isaac Young
fuck you zainichi gook
Thomas Wilson
Well I've never been to USA so I can't really compare anything. But this country is so big, there must be some cool places.
If you can't move in a foreign country, maybe you can try moving into a different state. That can be the trick too.
Alexander Torres
Only if I got to be a NEET, but id still go outside when the wagies are busy so not really a hikki.
Luke Jones
The work ethic in Japan is pretty terrible, and it takes everything eons to change to something new, even if it's far more practical or cost-saving, simply because "we've never done it that way before". You end up drowning in red tape for every little thing.
But it's not so bad. Not perfect, but not terrible.
t. been living in Japan for nearly a decade
Colton Reed
they're very liberal
Dylan Butler
Compared to other Asian nations, sure, but not nearly when compared to most western countries.
Jeremiah Ward
Yeah, I'm sure there's some cool places in Los Angeles, New York, or California. Only problem is that all of these places are 9 trillion light years away from where I live
I wish I was born in Okinawa, I don't even care if I was an aborigine, I would have rather been there than here fuck this gay earth
Owen Jenkins
It is better to be born in Jow Forums and then move to Japan. You will appreciate it more. I am in Japan now and it is better but their hand driers suck, they have no public trash cans and benches are few and far between. t. American
Elijah James
Checking your dubs with mine. Okinawa is shit. They do not like foreigners there and are not really Japan.
Jace Rodriguez
>no public trash cans Why should you need one exactly?
John Jones
Eating or drinking while walking is /comfy/. The Japanese do not really do this. They used the train terrorism as an excuse to chintz on public trash disposal. Having a place to dispose of whatever is more convenient than carrying garbage like an animal.
>Eating or drinking while walking is /comfy/ If you get food while walking, you just have to walk back to where you got it or throw it in the trash of any other takeaway place you pass, as these establishments will always have a trash can. As far as drinks go, if you're drinking out of plastic bottles or aluminium cans, just lol @ your life.
Logan Cook
Walking while you eat is really a meme. Snacking is a meme. Humans are designed to sit and eat meals.
Joseph Green
No, I understand fren. If you can, come to Tokyo, or just do your best where you are.
Maybe? I have always enjoyed it, like a sandwich is meant for walking around. Try ordering a sandwich tomorrow and eat it on the street, get out of your comfort zone. /comfy/ is here.
Well, Okinawa is a very beautiful place indeed, but people from Okinawa have pretty tough life. Lots of troubles with american soldiers, no respect from other japanese, and it is pretty far away from Japan main land.
Yeah, so don't just go to these cities, actually move there if you have an opportunity though study or job. If you have nothing to lose in Missouri, you should find a way. Don't give up, really.
I don't agree with you. No bench and no trash can is a good thing. Since I live here I walk a lot and it is good for health. And about trash, yes it is annoying first, but then you realize thanks to these, streets are very clean. In my country there are trash cans everywhere and the streets are disgusting. I'd rather put trash in my bag until I got back home and live in a clean city rather than walking in a garbage swimming pool.
Asher Ward
What difference would it make?
Do you believe that the chance of becoming a basement dweller would be lower, if you were born i japan?
I restore old shrines and temples. Only in Roppongi and Kabukicho, the biggest shitholes in Tokyo. No. Tokyo is pretty clean and convenient. I guess apartments are more expensive but the jobs here pay better, so it balances out.
Jackson Martinez
Japan is too full of people. More work for less pay. Expensive school if kids there. Loud cities because trains and ac everywhere. Summer you sweat like a pig. Winter dry up so hands feel like shit all the time. Internet and phones seem bad and expensive. I like travelling there but living and working there sounds like a nightmare.
There are good sides, but many bad sides too. Just like most countries
Nicholas Nguyen
I'm thinking coming to Tokyo someday. But since I'm more interested in nature, culture and stuff I don't know what to do there. Some old jiisan told me Yasukuni kek but do you recommend other stuff?
Jaxson Allen
>wagecuck capital >Everyone lives paycheck to paycheck cause economy is fucked
Those two alone are reason enough not to live there
Ryan Gonzalez
ITT: NEETS who have never traveled and see Japan through some weird rose colored glasses not realizing that it's literally just another country, a pretty shotty one to be white in at that. Jesus fucking christ at least go experience this place you are fawning over. Sorry to burst the bubble but Japan isnt all that great.
Cooper Hughes
Nature? You can climb Mt. Fuji. I did that once. Near Tokyo there's a much smaller and easier mountain called Mt. Takao that's much prettier than Mt. Fuji. They both have shrines at the top.
I've never been there, but Lake Biwa is supposed to be really pretty and Lake Nikko is a popular destination for Japanese people.
People might tell you to go to the bamboo forests in Kyoto but they're so crowded it's not very enjoyable.
Aaron Hall
Fucking westerners, ruining your own counrty and wanting to move to another instead of fixing your own problems. Japan would never want you.
Jordan Howard
I'm gonna try Fuji some day, seems tough but fun. Thanks for Takao, I'm gonna check that.
I actually went to Otsu and climb Hiei for the new year sunrise. Very cool. It was very cold and slippery because of the snow, but good thing to try.
Yeah, I went to Kyoto twice and it is pretty disappointing in general. Rather than japanese culture, it is a japanese museum. Foreigners everywhere. And god... Those bus...
Jacob Ortiz
I'd rather not live in a culture where people literally work themselves to death and kill themselves en masse. But the women are very cute, the architecture is great, and they produce great pieces of media I enjoy.
Dylan James
>I'd rather not live in a culture where people literally work themselves to death and kill themselves en masse. Well you do :^)
Aaron Sanders
So Ra No Wo To is the greatest anime ever made.
Hunter Kelly
>he fell for the japan meme You forgot the wageslaving part, loser.
