lmao...
Thanks Capitalism.
Why the fuck are others lives so easy, this shit isn't fair
>Tbh i dont know what company and position she works for in order to land a job like that.
Even my software engineer friends dont work like that and still work normal work hours with some above average pay.
A person this young working this little seems a bit weird, maybe she got some super top grades and CV, idk.
You didn't know capitalism was a thing, huh?
>wore socks so I couldn't see her feet
FUCK THIS ROASTIE REEEEEEEEEEEE
>I worked really hard to get this and software engineering is my passion!
Of course some woman is gonna make a video about her own quirky self while working a typical male job but it turns out she doesn't really do any work at all and for some reason gets to keep her job.
Jesus H. Christ. I wanted to get a compsci degree and become a software engineer because programming sounds interesting and because I want to work remotely. If that's what the average software engineer's workplace looks like, then I don't know if I want that job anymore.
>break for coffee
>break for snacks
>multiple breaks for """team bonding""" in ONE DAY
>multiple breaks for puppies, of all things
Is this a workplace or a daycare? Just watching the video made me uncomfortable. It's so """artistic""". All sorts of weird useless knickknacks everywhere, even an airstream trailer for some reason? Having to talk to my teammates 24/7 sounds like hell as well. Thank god working remotely is an option. r-right...?
Why the fuck did she not show herself doing any work in this video? You'd think a woman working a male-dominated field would be extra careful to include the bits where she's doing actual work. I guess she can't show her code on camera because of contracts or something? Still a retarded video.
She's a hotty with medium knowledge in her field.
So obviously she will get a good life.
It sucks but that's what ya gotta deal with.
There's plenty of companies with different environments.
If the field appeals to you and you are good at it you will be able to choose between different companies.
And unfortunately yes, to exist in a society you have to be social to some degree.
Your are ok, most software engineers dont have that kind of shit and work normally like anyone with an office job does, earning a above average pay.
There are many things we dont know about her, maybe her job position is something super special and vital for the company or is simply getting assgined less work than she normally gets, we dont know.
It would be a boring video.
That's why she filmed puppies and tried to make the food look good.
And included the gym and wine.
It was supposed to make her look good, her life look fun, and her day overall good.
People should watch it and go "oh wow that look like a good day, and she a pretty girl living a good life, mmm".
Lately I've made great improvements in my social skills. I still don't make eye contact unless I'm doing a job interview, but I don't mumble anymore unless I'm taken by surprise by someone.
Thanks, user. It's also highly likely that her workplace is in the top 1%, and that we're only seeing it because of this. They probable chose to depict that workplace in the video to appeal to normalfags, and the average workplace is probably a lot more business-oriented. It seems the tech industry is trying to appeal to normans a lot more nowadays.
Then honestly social interactions amongst co-workers would probably be a great way to develop your social skills.
Normies peacock status by showing how little they work while in decent earning jobs.
This isn't reality btw. Its more of a "look at how little I work and how much I earn, im better than you"
I don't really want to develop my social skills anymore. The only thing I wanted to get better at was not being nervous in social situations, and I've already fixed that. I can fake social skills well enough to land a job, and I've come to realize that leaving people alone goes a long way, and smiling and nodding goes an even longer way.
this is basically every women in san francisco. I don't know a single poor women here, all make more money then the guys i know by several grand. they get the pick of the litter for dating. can only hope one of them eventually gets tired of getting dicked down by Chad and lets me be their live in NEET husband. a wagecuck can dream.
Actually seems like it and you can understand why in this narcissistic culture.
Women and minorities always make up over 50% of the staff in these types of videos but I'm sure that is not reflective of what the average computer science graduate is. Also she'll become obese as she grows older.
>They probable chose to depict that workplace in the video to appeal to normalfags
Would say that about 40% of the people that go over software egineering degrees are only in it for the money and not because its something they like and enjoy. Its becoming a meme really.
I recommend you looking into electrical and computer engineering aswell, you may like it.
It has a lot more math and physics, but also has programming. It gives you a much better understading of the hardware and how stuff works at the literal phisical level.
It has a lot of branches you can take on, either be energies, robotics, telecommunications or you can work as a code monkey as if you did a software engineering degree. The catch it that its normally a harder degree to take.
If only HIPAA didn't exist, then we would be able to see "Day in the life of an emergency physician" to see how they get treated by shit by both management and by patients.
I'll look into that, user. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I hope you have a nice evening.
she still won't be to afford a house in SF, these fags have ruined it for the rest of us as well.
Ew.
At times I hate that I did Chemistry and I'm stuck getting shitty pay and I wish I did Comp sci, but fuuuuuuuuck! I would not last in a an environment like that. The whole place was tacky and you can tell they only hire the pickles xD type. I'm glad all the laboratories I've worked in have people that just want to get the job done and crack some jokes throughout the day, no excessive team bonding outside of the odd paid lunch
>It would be a boring video.

This. Also, it was supposed to make her job look welcoming TO OTHER WOMEN and to inspire jealousy IN OTHER WOMEN, and showing actual work wouldn't do that. Only the perks do that.
They have all sorts of "perks rooms" at my company, too. Nobody uses them, because that's all nonsense compared to the work.
On Netflix or one of those channels there's this series called (I think) "8 Days Out" that shows people in high-stress environments in the 8 days before an important event. And I watched two of them in a row, and the fucking contrast was incredible: the first of them was about a 5-star restaurant re-opening after a remodelling project, and the second one was about the last 8 days before NASA crashed the Cassini probe into Saturn. And I SHIT YOU NOT, the restaurant one was interesting, and the NASA one was totally content-free. Because the restaurant one focused on a couple of hyper-demanding asshole men (and, to be fair, their female project manager) and showed lots of ACTUAL WORK done by (shockingly) men. The NASA one focused on two women (the head project engineer and some junior astronomy chick) and showed literally no work at all, and was instead a promotional video for how women FELT about Saturn and what their relatives FELT about having female relatives who worked at NASA blah blah blah.
There's probably lots of real work going on at that company and they simply chose to not show it to you, to make the video woman-friendly.
>I'm glad all the laboratories I've worked in have people that just want to get the job done and crack some jokes throughout the day, no excessive team bonding outside of the odd paid lunch
You can have team bonding in IT, too, just not if the company wants to drive it.
"Get drunk after work and bitch about the fucking morons on the sales force" is still the best available method to build camaraderie among developers - and you can even include QA.
>"Get drunk after work and bitch about the fucking morons on the sales force" is still the best available method to build camaraderie among developers - and you can even include QA.
No. I don't like hanging out with coworkers.
The things you're describing are all concentrated in SV, if you work as a programmer in the midwest or Texas they're unheard of
>maybe she got some super top
dick sucking ability.
Or a really right pussy.
most people actually don't do REAL WORK more than that. at least they aren't pretending to do so. if you get int 4 HOURS OF SOLID GOOD WORK then its ok in my book.
dis.
if she's in commiefornia then 150k is middle class at best.
Just accept it and become a paypig to someone like this. Your life is in shambles, make theirs better than it already is.
Depends on who you work for.
Used to work for Chase and it sucked. Made 75k a year out the gate but they give the most retarded deadlines.
Switched over to Nationwide and it's a lot more laid back. Pay isn't as good but it's a lot less stressful.
You forgot to mention the other 4 hours of sucking dick and getting her ass pounded.
