Apathy my inquisitive friendo

wikipedia couldn't tell me why a bobbit worm is an annelid and not an arthropod

give me a reason to

Parasitic worms, fungus and protozoa.

I try that periodically. Then I realize it's 3am and I really need to go to sleep. I've got to get to work early tomorrow, so I'm not going on a Wikipedia binge tonight.

I do that around 4am and its only 1am right now

self education is often more effective than formal education

too busy lurking ED

What you think I do with my free time?

Learning something releases dopamine, the reward neurotransmitter. The same chemical you feel when you see your food coming in a restaurant or you are making out with someone attractive.
I guess you have to want it bad enough, some people don't get enthusiastic about learning or have much passion at all.

My comprehension is shite.
I have to reread a paragraph several times before it sinks in.

I downloaded "Astrophysics for People in a Hurry" by the black science man from libgen. Recommend

I try that but I always leave with more existential dread than I entered with.
