It seemed like the mod crackdown was that turning point to me. I don't remember exactly when that was, but it basically rendered Jow Forums a place where it was impossible to talk about her. They don't give a fuck now, since the hype has died down and there aren't 10,000 people eager to claim her delicious dox and stalk her anymore, but it went from at least one (usually several) Crispy threads up 24/7 to people sometimes getting banned for bringing her up at all after that one guy doxed her.

Well, she also basically stopped doing CC and slowed her Insta posting down to a pathetic trickle in the aftermath of the crackdown on her fanbase. I also recall one of her orbiter "friends" straight up telling her around the same time she was doxed that the only reason so many people "liked" her was because they considered her a masturbation idol, which seemed to be something she avoided believing before that and made her very upset to learn. Then she left home (to go to college, IIRC?) around the same time as well, and soon wasn't lonely enough to wile away the hours chatting with Jow Forums neckbeards anymore.
Again, can't totally remember the timetable, but I recall ALL of that happening within a fairly short span of time, maybe just a couple of months. It still seems like the mod crackdown was the ultimate turning point though, and losing Jow Forums as a platform for orbiting her and then having fresh content from the waifu herself dry up was apparently just too much for the fanbase to survive.
