I don't watch Romantic movies, I don't know why anyone here would

The silence of the lambs.
Great movie for getting you in the mood.

Restless. It's bittersweet, adorable and a little bit weird. To summarize, it's the romance between a girl with brain cancer and a guy whose hobby is to attend strangers' funerals and has the ghost of a kamikaze as his best friend.

Phantom Thread desu. Good portrayal of two really fucked up people coming to terms with how fucked up each of them, accepting that aspect of themselves and their partner and making a life with the other. Pretty good stuff.

I guess I'll post a bit more myself before the thread dies for the sake of cheesiness,

The Human Centipede 3: Final Sequence

This one is really well known: Juno. An overall cheerful and fun tone with proper transition into and out of drama. Juno herself is straight up entertaining by herself.

This one I've watched (and loved) very recently. Incredibly enough, Netflix has actually produced a good movie. The premise is pretty clever and Sierra is a really lovable dork. It has a bit of that awful misunderstanding cliche, but nothing outrageous.

The Human Centipede is a terrible franchise based around an idea that only deserved a short. If you want a weird blowjob go watch Tokyo Gore Police. If you want something disgusting then go with Salo.

This one I watched a really long time ago, but I remember it really interesting and fun. It's about a couple that throughout their lives play a game of dare. Quite an oddity,

PS: Sierra Burgess also has a great ending song, btw: youtube.com/watch?v=tMAbBNXreJs

This one is probably the slowest of them all, because Europe, but it's truly a jewel. One if not my favourite from my Oscars marathon from last year. Kind of like the western Lain. Not sweet, not cheesy, not cute; quite unnerving, really.

Another pretty weird one. Unlike what you may expect from a movie starring Jim Carrey, it's not a lame, dumb comedy.

And well, hopefully this isn't a problem, but here's an anime one: Hotarubi no mori e. Really tender and innocent love story between a girl and a yokai. Short (45 minutes) but sweet.

Quite unorthodox but I'd say it counts.

And the last one I'll post: Moonrise Kingdom. A couple of kids going on a romantic flight... in an island.

Actually no, hold on. There's a kind of romance that just came to my mind: Castaway on the moon. An extremely weird korean movie with a guy being left stranded on a small island within a river after trying to kill himself and a woman that keeps observing him from her apartment.

The Princess Bride
I've been watching it as long as I can remember

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and Her. Both fantastic movies

Natural Born Killers #1 favorite movie

Roman Holiday.

Aaaactually... I loved this movie in many ways. The romance in sweet, the dialogues and characters are really engaging, and it has some scenes that are beautiful by themselves, as well as a side story that should hit close to home for a lot of fellow robots.
But now I have to go to sleep, so I'll leave a honorable mention to 500 Days of Summer.

S Legkim Parom/The Irony Of Fate. Soviet movie. Funny, slow paced, it's fantastic. The translations they did were incredible too, so a non-speaking Russian man like me can watch it.

FLCL is a cute coming of age romantic tale
