Smoking meth is really aesthetically pleasing on several levels. First, it's visually pleasing: the crystals melt down, the smoke swirls around in the bowl, the crystals then re-solidify ('crack back') leaving an interesting looking round formation on your pipe. Second, the 'smoke' (vapor) itself is among the mildest and easiest to take of any drug, it literally just feels like inhaling warm air. Third, there's an element of skill to it, with rolling the pipe, holding the flame at the right distance, etc.

Another thing I'll say about smoking meth is that it's the best 'social' way to do the drug. When I was using, 99% of the time I used alone, but a few times I smoked up with my dealer, and I remember it being really fun to just shoot the shit while we hit our pipes. Kinda like sharing a cigarette, except it actually got you high.

Having a break from everything this week to get my brain working better (not an addict of any specific substance). I have no will to do anything. Trying to look forward to next week but it barely helps.
On another note, I have a free day next week where I want to experience the k-hole or at least come close, but I'll be driving a lot the next day, will I have any kind of hangover?

I don't know what my baseline is because I've been on amp for so long. I like to imagine I return to my normal, directionless ADHD self. Occasionally I take breaks and they're usually a few days to a week. I can't say breaks aren't unpleasant but they're really nothing to write home about. Caffeine withdrawal manifests in flu symptoms for me. Amp withdrawal lacks any distinct features besides sleepiness and laziness which is why many hesitate to even call it withdrawal.

The baseline thing doesn't matter to me anyways. Sure I could decide to go unmedicated, but like Erdos demonstrated some people are much better on drugs. Why return to baseline at all? I have a medically acknowledged condition and I get drugs for it, might as well keep going until I can't.

My experiences with drugs thus far have been limited to phenibut and modafinil. I started with higher doses, around 1.5g and 200mg, but I actively seek to take as little as possible to get a similar effect in order to benefit my life and not just for the recreational effects, and I've found that 250mg and 50mg, respectively, is the perfect middle ground. I read stories of people abusing phenibut and I just have no desire to do so. I suppose it's nowhere near as physiologically addicting as something like meth, but still, it's been easy enough to overcome that tendency so far.
