Frogposters are in constant violation of GR 13. Their presence discourages not only productive posters from lingering in Jow Forums weakening its ability to produce OC, but it discourages the mods themselves from policing the board as they have to whack more and more frogposters: the mods on IRC went out on a limb to say the reason they didn't intervene during April was because there was literally too many IPs that weren't in the same range to ban at once and you can feel the large lack of moderation has left Jow Forums vulnerable to more /b/-tier garbage including porn dumps. Without mods, Jow Forums would decay into a /b/ clone, which goes against the very fabric of the board's purpose.

If they aren't violating GR 13, they shouldn't make a fuss about not being allowed to post their favorite image for every single thread.

The reason frogposting has become a fandom in the first place is because of reddit. Before 2016, Pepe was just the "Feels bad man" frog, was rarely seen outside of Jow Forums and /b/, and didn't have obnoxious posters trying to shill him along with their political views everywhere. Most people didn't even know he had a name.

This is also a major part of why people dislike them. Frogposters post for the sake of agendas, sometimes political, sometimes because of their Kekistan thing that some of them seriously believe, and sometimes just to try and ruin someone's day. The only other group on Jow Forums that could be described on those terms were what would become /mlp/.

It's not because of reddit, at least not directly. The reason frogs have become terrible is that they've convinced themselves that they know better about Jow Forums than anyone else, including the mods, and ever since they got the popularity surge during the Trump Election and learned how to change IPs they've posted increasingly edgy things they've done including the suicide and truck attack on Jow Forums, and expect you to pity them because they can't get laid in spite of all this. They're fucking psychopathic weirdos on a site full of psychopathic weirdos.

The way they treat Jow Forums is the way they treat every board they're on, which is like it's Jow Forums. I don't to be Jow Forums. I want to be Jow Forums.
