The study is ultimately flawed for a few reasons:
1. Low sample size of less than 50 women
2. Lack of followup.
3. Inconsistent groups. 2 of the women had induced abortions.
4. Lack of screening for other variables.
Bottom line, this study doesn't prove that sex alone can lead to microchimerism. To do that you would need a study with 2 test groups of at least 50 women each. One with a history of sexual activity and one without. It's very hard to track undetected pregnancies. It's estimated that 50% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.
