It's easy to do, you just gotta do an overhead press, hold for ~3 seconds, and squat slowly onto the bench until you lie down. Don't drop it. When you're finished you just roll it off.
I've seen a guy do a 2.5 pl8 incline barbell press on a regular bench. It was terrifying.

Well if its incline its not really that dangerous. If you fail the bar will automatically roll (of shame) towards your hip area. Then you can just stand up and put the bar down. Its still kinda dumb to do.., but i wouldn't say terrifying.
You just ask your friend to spot you and get you the bar. Bam, problem solved.

Incline/decline bench are fine, but normal barbell bench is seen as a beginner exercise at my gym. If you're doing it, the other guys will kinda smirk at you cause it's clear you got your idea of "what to do at the gym" from movies or something.
