It's my day off today, and it's going okay.

Woke up about an hour ago to the trailer for John Wick Chapter 3, and after all this time and both of these movies I can't believe this franchise still has the ability to surprise me.

I'm going to take a shower (I'm starting to smell weird) and get myself a quick spot of lunch, then maybe go and exercise for a bit. Nothing too strenuous, maybe a nice little walk. After that I'm going to see Glass. Critic reviews haven't been kind, but I haven't seen Unbreakable so maybe I'll like it more with my expectations in check.

no i didnt vote at all have yet to in my life. i think he's an absolute moron but dont know anything about politics to bring up anything about his policies/beliefs/standings so i steer clear or political discussion entirely unless im with people i can placate by just saying 'trump is dumb' over and over agian desu

i think the idea of an everyman is really hard to discuss because each person or peoples have different ideas of what it is, most of it reflecting on the thinker's own perspective. i am hard on myself for a few reasons but have come to terms with my shortcomings and am trying to work at it

work in a factory running machines that pack sweets.
it's not too bad only do weekends at the moment.but it's changing soon to doing basically 5 12 hour shifts in a row then 4 days off then 4 days of work and 5 days off with a mix of 2 to 3 day shifts(6am-6pm) then 24 hr after finish be back in for 3 or 2 nights(6pm-6am). that'll be shitty but the money'll go up so that's ok.and might look into another line of work after a few years of punishment.owe my mum 8k so need to get her paid off

I think it all has to do with perspective. Like, people always talk about wanting a president that they can grab a beer with, someone they can relate to, and to that end Trump succeeds in spades. Despite his appearance he gives off the aura of that Chad friend of a friend who's always talking himself up, to the point where you almost believe him.

However, the trade-off is his position. It's fine to have a guy who knows how to talk himself up, but he should be able to be serious when necessary too. Trump...doesn't know how to be serious. He's not educated on how to run a country but at this point he's too scared to fail.
