what's your favorite book, robots?
What's your favorite book, robots?
fucking illiterate robots i bet you all watch tv
The Book of Ecclesiastes
The Inferno
The Last Man
Paradise Lost
Also thanks for this rare crispy fren
Halo: First Strike. I've had the same copy since I was seven and I'm twenty now. The old Halo novels are better than the games.
SHE'S RUINED HER TWITTER MAKES ME FEEL SO BETRAYED
Dhalgren
Its kinda boring around 400 but i love it still1
She is adorbs. It's not fair bros, why can't I have a qtpi Crispy gf?
I had one for 8 years. Treated her better than any guy ever could. She left me for her """"""friend"""". I now, at long last realize that I do not have to live up to YOU, but rather YOU have to live up to me.
Dune series. The OG, not the abortions by his son The weird part is that dune is obscure enough that normies don't know about it, but popular enough that bookworms hate me because it is popular
i only know the inferno and paradise lost, are they all poems?
theres only one crispy so only one of us can have her
SOILED IT SOILED IT SOILED SOILED IT SHE'S RUINED NOTHING IS SACRED MY DARLING MY LOVE MY LIFE IS A WHORE
Jurassic Park and The Green Glass sea
Nah. Book of ecclesiastes is a wisdom book in the OT. The Last Man is a novel by Mary Shelly, who wrote frankenstein
I like the bible of the fallen, the name of the wind and the wise man's fear.
Nothing interesting happens in the last two, but I like them for some reason
They are also the only books I've read
one what? is this a fight club quote?
i saw a dune chart lit with a billion books and was kinda intimidated by it desu
rude
never heard of the last man, but frankenstein is pretty fucking good, gonna give it a try
Oh, I thought this was an actual book thread, not a shitposting thread about that girl. Apologies
Picked this up at a bookstore and read it nonstop. Sounds cliche, but its analysis is timeless.
The Sea Wolf, by Jack London.
Wolf was right though, and Hump was a faggot.
Only the first 6 by the original author are fine, the rest was the son of the guy trying to milk the series and for what I've seen and read they are all shit, and a lot of then retcon things from the original dune books, so as far as I am concerned, they don't exist
Paradise lost. and really enjoy Dostoevsky's works
slaughterhouse 5
Fiction: Screw Tape Letters.
Non-fiction: Ghengis Khan and the making of the modern world.
oh wow I didn't even notice your post.
Paradise Lost and the book of Ecclesiastes is are my favorites as well. ^_^
the book covers seem pretty interesting, i love this oldschool scifi paintings
i bought some of Dostoevsky's but haven't read them yet, which one is your favorite?
Count of Monte Cristo
and Lady of the camellias
I've only been able to finish his short stories so far because I suck at reading but I really like White Nights.
Only 1/3 way through reading through Demons and like it so far but haven't picked it up in over year.
inb4 confederacy of dunces
Infinite Jest. I have a big boner for DFW's writing style, and I love how he's able to write so well without pretense. The story isn't anything special but it's, in my opinion, some of the best writing ever. In the way that people listen to Jimi Hendrix for his guitar solos.

Definitely keep it up with Demons, right around where you are the book picks up dramatically in quality and becomes the best ride you'll find in any Dosto
i rly love 1984 by george orwell and all of the narnia books
Muffy > Crispy 2bh
1984 is great.
I really enjoy the writing style of the Stranger by Camus. Short sentences that leave the details up for imagination are way better than long explanations of the details on somebody's chair or something as some books do.
I'm currently stuck on reading "the Fall", the writing style is really bad. The whole book is one characters monologue.
Just a reminder that orbiting women in 2019 is a fools game. That is why I only orbit handsome 10/10 chads, like Frosby! Look how cool he is!!! As far as my favorite book, that's a hard choice to make. My two favorite authors have to be Kurt Vonnegut, and Fyodor Dostoevsky.
i got pretty spooked after reading 1984, at the ending it tricks you into thinking there's going oto be a revolution with a happy ending and it just fucks you over
beauty is subjective, but crispys pics are objectively better
oh hi fren, how's your job?
BASED FROSBY user!!! I hope I haven't missed any of your threads lately!!! Work has been brutal and soul crushing. I work 12-14 hour shifts Monday through Friday. The work sucks, but the over time pay is nice. How have you been? Is Jambo comfy? I hope you are doing good as well.
Breakfast of Champions, by Kurt Vonnegut. Most fun I've ever had reading a book. Almost every paragraph had me chuckling.
Francis of the Filth. Temporarily cured my depression for a few days.
12 hours a day? holy shit is this even legal?
Notes from the Underground by Dostoevsky
Unfortunately it is....How have you been, what games have you been playing? I wanna get that Resident Evil 2 re-make / re-master myself.
The Robots of Dawn by Isaac Asimov
Crime and Punishment. I wish I could experience reading it for the first time again.
downloading kingdom hearts 3 rn
The Incel Manifesto
She's so cute. I wanna kiss her.
don't know what this is, but elliot's manifesto is unironically great book if thats what you're talking about
That sounds comfy as hell, I tell you what. Tell me how you like it when you finally get around to playing it! You are my most trusted source of games after all. What did you have for dinner? This is the question that has been on my mind all week.
Just picked up a book called Scythe. Great book and couldn't recommend it more. Bought the paperback first, liked it so much I bought the hard back of the two books out right now.
it will probably take me a while to finish it tho. I had pasta for dinner, you've been thinking all your week what I had for dinner today or on the respective days in which you've been thinking?
I often ask two questions to myself every day. The first is What did Based Frosby user have for dinner tonight? The second is: Is Jambo comfy? I already know the answer to the second question, but the answer to the first question is often left up to my imagination. Pasta is pretty good / comfy. You are truly doing well indeed.
A story of a murderer.
Artemis Fowl
for now yes, but i always have the feeling that when things are going well it means something bad is about to happen
You can only live life one day at a time. It sounds like pretty lame ass advice, and it is. I get that feeling as well. It seems we really are connected. I say just focus on playing Kingdom Hearts and petting Jambo, and enjoy the happiness while it lasts.
Finnegans Wake, duh.
I almost picked that up on my last trip to the bookstore, but I went for "Cat's Cradle" instead. Haven't gotten to it yet, though. Still working through "The Man in the High Castle" by Philip K. Dick. That one will definitely be my next purchase.
