I've realized I'm dumb as shit...

I've realized I'm dumb as shit. Not in the "I bad at math haha" type of way but more of the "I have no opinions about any topics at all because I literally just know nothing about said topics." So, I want learn in hopes that by the end of the year I'll develop more as a person. Any ideas of what I should dive into? Conspiracy theories are always cool

You're NPC. or worse a woman.

Yes I acknowledge that. That's why I made the fuckin thread

Conspiracy theories are probably the worst thing you can delve into, you'll still know nothing about anything remotely important and seem like a new breed of idiot talking about such theories while still not knowing much.
Looks up a Wikipedia page for anything that interests you, such as a sport, or a war, anything like that, and let the hyperlinks guide you to whatever else looks interesting.

Always spiritualism and philosophy just don't fall for the memes.

>Conspiracy theories are probably the worst thing you can delve into
Yeah you're probably right, but it sounded like something fun to learn about so it was my first idea
>Wikipedia page for anything that interests you, such as a sport, or a war, anything like that
God this is making me feel like such a dumbass. I just can't think of anything that catches my eye
>Spiritualism and philosophy
Maybe, getting into hippy shit like that sounds cool, but where do I start? What are the memes?

user you can't have an opinion on everything, good opinions and useful knowledge are rooted im genuine interests and ambition

Is there nothing on this world that moves your heart?

Is there nothing on this world that moves your heart?
I'm really not sure. I have goals and ambitions I'm working towards, but I really seem to lack any interest in anything except games, comics/manga, and sometimes I draw. That's it and even then most days I just spend lurking on this chan. There's a thread up right now with an image of Swamp Thing where the op was talking about how he thought girls were boring, and some supposed chick came in and basically pointed out how boring and similar everyone here is and it got me thinking. I'm not into anything. I don't know anything about tanks, or politics, or agriculture, etc. I have like nothing at all. I'm an empty man. I have no passions except for my own ambitions

I noticed this about myself also so i just started regurgitating facts i learned in my psychology class that i thought were interesting to people to seem like i have some sort of knowledge.

sounds like you have a lot of opinions on things you actually care about

You just feel like you don't care about the right things. In this case going on Wikipedia or reading a book on any given matter won't help you much. You'll have to get out, try a lot of things and discover new things you care about. Your opinions will then form on their own

Also never do something because your autistic mind tricks you into believing it'll get you attention from chicks. If you don't believe me start lurking Jow Forums for living proof.

The heart of a man contains the entirety of the universe. The quest of life is to help it remember

OP you can start by understanding that Austrian Autism was responsible for the bloodiest wars of Europe.

>Thirty Years War
was started because the Austrian Monarchy autistically refused to let protestants practice their faith

>World War 1
because Austria decided to take military action despite knowing that the volatile alliances of Europe would escalate in a massive bloodbath

>World War 2
Hitler was an AUSTRIAN.

Well what is your goal? To be a more well rounded person, or to be able to relate to other people better?

Ngl if u draw well enough your interesting already. but if you get into drawing realism u wud be even cooler. sculpting too. as something to learn about maybe mythology. guys who know about mythology are cool.

Okay so I took a shower and I realized that I am actually really autistic about a certain state (Iowa) and all my ambitions revolve around getting back there, so I've decided I'm gonna start try learning the history of this one place, and maybe I'll become a sorta history buff along the line and start expanding from there
>Sounds like you have a lot of opinions on things you actually care about
>You just feel like you don't care about the right things
Pretty much. I can tell you fucking anything about Metal Gear lore for example but really how is that knowledge useful at all?
>Also never do something because your autistic mind tricks you into believing it'll get you attention from chicks
Oh no I already know this. That'll just end in disaster. I'm mostly doing this because I realized I'm a total hypocrite that pretends he's special while really my head is almost completely empty

>To be a more well rounded person
Yeah that's pretty much spot on. I don't care about being able to relate anymore, I'm actually probably spreading the distance between me and other people further by doing this. I wanna be the special boy I used to think of myself basically
My drawings aren't very realistic and I'm not that great. I'd show pics, but my phone is broken (I only have a sketch book) so I have to buy a new one today. If you've been to the creative threads within the last week maybe you've seen some of my stuff though

In that case I definitely suggest learning about history. Do you require the subject to be something you can have an "opinion" about, or are you just trying to expand your mind? If it's the latter then I also suggest learning Go, or possibly an instrument.

>Do you require the subject to be something you can have an "opinion" about, or are you just trying to expand your mind?
Expansion of the mind. I've already tried learning guitar though and it felt like a total chore to do so I sold my guitar and amp. I have no idea what Go is

Why don't you try learning about art history? It might give you some more inspiration and ideas for your drawings and it branches out into a lot of other stuff (politics, theology, philosophy etc.) You might even start with japanese art history if you like manga.
If this is not your thing then you might consider getting more interested in manga and comics. I'm not much of a fan but it's still fascinating to learn about people like Frank Frazetta or Kim Jung Gi or listening to all the inspirations behing the world of JoJo.

Go is a board game like chess, but with simpler rules and more complex strategy.

Read a lot of history. Unsubscribe to all of these brainlet channels that I know you're subscribed to (gaming channels included). Get into politics, read at least one book on all of these political affiliations (Communism, Progressivism, Libertarianism and Fascism) and decide on what do you agree on the most. Finally, read some philosophy. Leave Jow Forums, at least for a few months. That's it.

Watch VSauce old videos, I think there are like 20 of them. They are high quality, don't mind the memes. I learnt a lot from those videos, as I'm not a native English speaker I also got a ton of vocabulary.
This advice implies you don't know what interests you yet. Also, lucid dreaming is a cool thing to get into. And I've been picking guitar from a few days ago and suddenly I can feel it's easier to coordinate complex actions.

dont fall for the art history meme. inspiration is fine but getting good revolves around discipline and techniques.

>OP spends a year learning about conspiracy theories in autistic detail and then becomes that whackjob who talks about his crazy conspiracies constantly

>I'm retarded, what conspiracy theories should I look into?
None

>I have no opinions about any topics at all because I literally just know nothing about said topics
The fact you are aware of this is good.
Dumb people are the ones that know nothing about a topic while holding very strong opinions about said topic.

What I do is I keep a notepad of interesting things I wanna dive in at a further date. Pic related is the current topics.
For example by reading the wiki page for "Child Idols" I spent the next couple of weeks reading articles, reports and books about why Japan has a serious problem preventing the circulation of child pornography.

Just pick a topic and dive deep into it.

Yeah I like drawing but honestly art history sounds like the most boring thing I can imagine
I already suck ass at chess I've literally lost to 12-year-olds[/spoilers]
I'm not subbed to anything at all on youtube honestly
Maybe. I've been watching Vice. I don't like the agendas they push but I like learning about new topics
That's the idea
I actually really like this idea you have of just writing things down and looking them up later. I think I'll actually start doing that for real

Oh no it's fucked woops

>Iowa
yeah that would be a start at least.

Just start reading. Start with Wikipedia and Google, eventually this will lead you to books and most importantly likeminded people
