Its not very interesting. There are a few htop windows open so I can monitor the CPU and memory usage on a few of my home servers. The far left monitor has my IRC on it (weechat), and the center left monitor has ncmpcpp with my music playlist on it.

Its less efficient and time effective, plus it is easier to make an error and not realize it and waste even more time down the road. its like daily driving a Ford Model A. There are a lot of things living on that rack. A half dozen small communities centered around different things. FOSS development, anime/manga translation (english/russian), pentesting, etc. There is also a lot of archival work going on there, most of it lead by me trying to archive stuff on the internet that wouldn't traditionally be archived. Then a few other small groups, an IRC server, an active image board, a neocities clone, blogosphere, telnet BBS, public tracker, etc. I wont advertise by name though because I don't want to eternal September my friends, but if you have spent enough time in this corner of the internet you have probably hit one of my servers by accident.

They can be. its mostly meme tax, but it is especially topre boards that have the price inflated. You can get a ton of genuine realforce and HHKBs super cheap used off of places like yahoo auctions JP, you just have to deal with a shipping proxy.

People don't use slide rules for serious math these days, they use them as a learning aide. For example most people don't understand that dividing and multiplying can be represented as "squeezing" and "stretching" a numberline. With a slide rule you must understand this concept to even use it at all.

Desktop vapes are way better for getting high. You can get higher if you can hold a bong down, just because it's easier to get more THC in your lungs at a time, but compared to smoking it's much better.
