'93 here. Yep. My first console was my dad's Sega and we had Sega CD. Sonic 2 and Sonic CD were my favorite. I got an N64 later.

1989 here. My first console was the n64 though. I was the oldest child so I didn't have any older siblings who would have gotten an earlier console. I remember begging and pleading with my dad for over a year to get me a SNES, but he said I had to wait for the n64 to release. Of course I was a 5-6 year old kid so I didn't understand the concept of game consoles advancing and being upgraded, I just thought he was making an excuse for not buying me a SNES. When I finally got that n64 on launch day though it was life changing. I still remember unboxing that thing and probably will to the day I die.

I'm also an 88--September 13th 1988 to be precise. Anyway, I don't have any particular feelings toward the currently-teenaged generation. Honestly they just seem like us but younger. The only thing that happens is when I meet them is I feel uncomfortable about being so old.
