Should I take boxing classes?

Should I take boxing classes?

I'm really skinny and worthless.

beef up first bro

buy a gun that should make you feel powerful

probably not, you're much more likely to get something out of a self defence martial art that doesn't require much physical strength. you could go for boxing but it'll be harder to get results since you'll need to build up strength necessary to use boxing effectively.

That will be hard.
I'm in college all day every day.

I don't want to be a boxer I just want to do something fun. I work out in the anyways and see great results every day.

If you get boxing classes they'll be beefing you up as part of those classes regardless so go for it, it might even boost your confidence.

Yes. Doing something will give you a sense of self-worth.

No go for your full potential and become a sissy, why fight when your TOP BF will do it for you?

try it out you may discover something that gives you dopamine like nothing else

I already look like a homosexual.

I'm soft and gentle. Wear skinny jeans and cute long sleeve jumpers. Also have flippy hair.

in that case, go for it. good luck faggowot

How so are you a twink?

Unironically gym gives me dopamine.

I skipped class today to get my fix.

It feels so good. Better than fapping.

>I'm soft and gentle. Wear skinny jeans and cute long sleeve jumpers. Also have flippy hair.
don't do it user, you're my type

yeah sure go for it. its a lot of fun, especially once you get good enough to actually fight in the ring.
Ill be honest though, its much better to do with friends than on your own

Hnnnngh

Origi, srsly

I have a gay looking face and act like a shy girl.

Yes. Even if you're skinny knowing how to throw a punch is all you need. Boxing is a lot of fun when doing it as a sport once people go pro or just do it for money is when it messes up with people
This is solid advice too
This is shit advice, self-defense martial arts rely on an attacker to perform a very specific move for you to counterattack that will most likely fail and have you kill

Well are you a fag user? I

Nope.

I don't find men attractive but I wish Ryan Goosling would give me a hug.

Ok do you have the confidence to go to boxing classes

I used to do MMA competitively in HS and it was a blast, I would recommend it over boxing

I have the confidence to walk into a gym.

But only from 9am till 12pm.
If there's too many people ill panic, not that there's too many people but that all the equipment is taken that I usually use.

do it but wear pink gloves and ask to spar with girls so you dont risk getting harmed

I actually want to get hit.

I've never been hit before and I bet it feels good.

Just hit a wall at home. Thats what i do. I am poor and i have no money for a punching bag so i just hit a stone wall until i see blood or my knuckels hurt alot. I don't like beeing around people so i don't go to a gym. Just train home it's pretty nice desu.

That's just sad user.

I like being a part of something.
I hate being alone.

It's not sad... I just don't want people to judge me every time i do something wrong u know. It makes me feel shitty about myself and I don't wanna do it again because i now know that i can't do it when actually i just made a small mistake. If someone says that i did something wrong that makes me think i did everything wrong. Fuck i can't explain it very good.

>Like to hit and get hit.
I can attest to the rush of it user, but be careful, it can be quite chilling to discover what you can actually enjoy.

I used to get into fights on a decently regular basis. I did it at first as pressure release valve, but before I knew it I found myself actually enjoying that rush on a base level.
I came from an abusive home, and finding out that I was capable of deriving the same pleasure from the pain of others as the people who abused me both terrified and sickened me.

I feel the same way.

The only reason I feel that way is because of my piece of shit dad. Judged me my whole life. I don't even know what I did to him.
I avoid him at all costs.

No, I was made to do boxing in elementary and middle school because of bullies. You will be completely disconnected from every one else. Moreover boxing lessons dont get you fit. You have to take them in conjunction with something else. I think the best path for you is either straight aerobic or weight training first. Think of it like an RPG, boxing is more like +1 str +1 hand to hand whereas aerobics is +2 dex +1 str and weight training is +3 str.

>Even if you're skinny knowing how to throw a punch is all you need
i would say that it's also important to know how to take a punch
i've seen many bulky guys get on the ground once they got hit few times in the nose/jaw. this one is not as fun to learn as punching it comes down to getting used to being hit in the face

shaolin monks hit stacks of cardboard attached to walls to strengthen their knuckles, what youre doing will probably destroy your hands

Welllllll maybe but fuck it

Actual boxer here OP. Boxing is a great self defense sport, and relies mostly on technique to create power, not strength. People who are naturally skinny for their height are usually great boxers. Don't "beef up" or get bigger before starting. Start boxing first, then if you want to after get bigger. Don't listen to these tards.

go away roastie, your obvious posting should get you fucking lynched

what if I need my brain though?

Boxing or wrestling.

I bet you would look good in cute little pink panties

I've been boxing for 8 years.

Ignore everyone who is telling you to "beef up first bro", they've never been in a boxing gym once in their entire lives.

It's a great sport but you need a lot of patience, even the simplest punches and drills will take a very long time to get down correctly.

I still see people who have 5+ years of experience throw uppercuts at the wrong angle. (you're supposed to aim right for the bottom of your opponents chin not the side for fuck sake)

Boxing requires you to be constantly aware of your body and visualize every movement.

Most boxing gyms do aerobics and have the gear there for you to lift, some don't have the budget for that but all the ones I've been to had.

I can't watch this bait thread any longer.
When is some degenerate or their harem going to drop a link to their discord so I can read fucked up shit?

Well since you do boxing, does it make you less scared of big dudes?

Make a concious effort to eat more and do 200 pushups a day

You're gonna have to eat a lot of food and workout if you're super skinny. Beef up a bit and spar a little bit with a friend or use a punching bag. Good luck user hope you don't die

i know the girl what was the inspiration of this pic
she is cool.

dont do this, just do the classes and have fun

t. former golden gloves boxer

dont, unless you really want to get your shit beat in.
just think about it, some people there have been doing the sports for over a decade, do you think they'll go easy on you just because you're the new guy?
No they won't.
If it's a relatively new club then maybe, since there's gonna be enough newcomers so you're on the same level.

t. attempted to take kickboxing lessons when I was 16 and got the shit beaten out of me by 18yo's who've been doing it since they were 10.
