I was 18 and I stacked boxes at UPS. It could get pretty boring but I was a kid making $10 an hour, $10.50 when I did overtime.

i'm 27 and never worked. I tried but failed

>started at Burger King age 15, $8/h
>worked there for 3 years, left as an assistant manager at $9/h
>went to be a cook for Denny's for $10/h
>worked there for 2 months, location shut-down due to management shenanigans
>went to work in a deli for $11.50/h
>worked there for 2 years, leaving soon because I accepted a position elsewhere
>start as an assistant grocery department manager for $15.15/h next month
I'd like to think I'm doing okay for 21

Where did u try?

Ooooh nicee.

Not him, but I'm the same age and can't find a job anywhere. I have a degree, so no shops will hire me, but I don't want to move to any of the cities around here. I'm waiting to hear back about a job teaching abroad, but, if that doesn't work out, I'll seriously have to consider claiming NEETbux.

I'm still here, started just over a year ago. I was 20 when I started. I did have a job working in a charity shop (what you burgers call a thrift store) before but that was unpaid so this is my first real job.
I sell coffees and snacks in a little train station kiosk. It's 8 pounds (non-ASCII text not allowed) an hour but I got a raise over Christmas for being a good boy and now I get 9 an hour.
It can be pretty /comfy/ especially when it's slow, I can go a good 20 minutes without any customers and I'm just beng paid to phonepost here or listen to music or a podcast or read.
Don't really want to do it for more than another year or two though, gradually everyone who was here when I started is leaving and being replaced and I don't want to be older than everyone else, but I'm also not really qualified for anything else and it is incredibly easy...

I was 15 and a lifeguard at the local pool. It was me and three friends and the manager was my friend's aunt and she was super nice. We would just fuck around, our training was like 10 hours at most done over a week and I'm pretty sure if anyone ever actually drowned they would have died. Also, if the redcross ever came to our podunk midwest town to investigate they would've shut us down. It was still really fun though, I mean it was such a small town, the population was like 500 so the only people who would come were kids on bikes. I remember it raining really bad one day and we just watched godzilla vhses all day. I want to go back, I was so care free and nothing was bad. I've never had a job since.

Technically, baseball umpiring when I was 16. It was really good pay and all under the table (for the most part). About as much as I get now, depending on the length of the game ($50-75/game, depending on age group). I don't really count it, as it was seasonal in the fall or spring and really sporadic.

First actual job was working heavy construction as a construction laborer for $14.00/hr when I was 18 (first summer from college). Worked for company my dad works - never applied to internships the entirety of my college career. Spent most the time cutting rebar and putting rock bolts into cliff faces. Lost about 40 lbs doing it as it was fairly hard work. Was working 60-72 hours a week, so the overtime pay was good.

I worked at a civic center across from my high school. I was technically a janitor but all I did was fuck around with my co-workers and take two hour lunch breaks while getting paid

I was at chicken treat for a few months, shitist job most of the time when I wasn't preparing food I was mopping the floors and doing the dishes. I almost got fired from burning one of my co workers and I burnt my arm as well, glad I quit now I'm making even more money on neetbux than I ever did there

Worked at the college's cafeteria when I was 14, made $7.25/hr and worked up to supervisor at $9/hr.

Now at 21 I'm about to start being a server for an upscale restaurant in town, making *roughly* $22/hr. Totally goes against my personality, but maybe being forced to talk to strangers every day will help me out.

Will I make it, robots?

I was 17 and got a job cashiering at Target. Felt good for a first time job, but once the holiday season was over, I got shit hours making from ~$400-$500 to ~$50-100 bi-weekly. Then I quit for a manufacturing job that pays the same, but I get more hours. Never working retail ever again.

I delivered pizzas when I was 17. Most of the people who worked there were drug addicts, autists, or alcoholics. They used to always make fun of me because I was always awkward when confronted questions about girls. I also used to get told that it wouldn't be a suprise if I killed myself. The only reason I stayed there for a year was because I could make $60-70 in tips during only a 5 hour shift. Eventually the owner's daughter, who was our manager started to run the place out of business and I left because my paychecks started bouncing even though it was only about $120/week for $5.08 an hour.

in some cloths packing job. 10$ a WEEK

US Navy @ 18. Nuke MM submarine. The best time of my life. I'm now unemployed living with my mommy. I regret not reenlisting every day. I've been unemployed for a year. I'm a failure.

Why can't you reenlist, user?

I was 19 and interned (no pay) for 4 months in a big airline company. I slaved for 40 hours a week doing literally nothing and didn't even get a reference to show for it because Mr. Shekelstein was such a fucking cucklord. I honestly don't remember much about the actual job apart from crying in the bathroom stalls every few hours

It's been a year. I probably could. But I can't bring my self to prove that I have nothing to offer and can't function in the real world.

>working at local hamburger stand at 14
>no permit so not working legally, just getting paid cash $6.00/hr
>also get free food during your shift
>ate the equivalent of like $30 worth of food per shift every time I went in
>after about 4 weeks, get called into meeting with manager
>"user, we like having you here but unfortunately, the amount of food you eat per shift is costing us too much."
>got fired for eating too much on the job
In case you were wondering, yes I am fat.

It's only been a year. Give it a shot, user. If you were happier then than you are now, then it seems like it would be a good move.

I got my first job last May, at Lowes in the flooring department. I worked there until November when I quit. I paid off my student loans ($5k), and saved another couple thousand and now I'm back to neeting. Not gonna lie, I miss the people there, it was kind of a fun job even though customers would get angry at me for being so awkward lol.

> Where did u work,
I worked for an electrical company
>how old were u
I was 13 when i started the job and 17when they fired me.
>what it was like.
Complete ass, every month id almost get killed, ive been meaning to post some green texts about somt of these times. Should i do it?

>costa coffee in uk
>not an actual cafe but a tiny booth next to train station, 2 people max per rota shift
>get a taxi to the 6am starts
>leave at 3
>coworkers are all girls
>no idea how to talk to them
>they quickly realise I'm a retarded ugly boring loser
>don't talk to me all day just talk to customers or play on phones
>6 months pass
>out of the blue get called in to manager, get fired for 'stealing from tip jar'
About a month later I got another cafe job and got fired from that after another 6 months. That was the last job I ever had and have been a neet for the last 4 years living with my dad

I cleaned the thorns off of rose stems in a flower shop seasonally during valentines and some other american holiday
I was 12
It was alright, it was usually with 7 to 8 other women
I wanted to be like them milfs

If you were there weren't they your tips anyway that day?

I didn't touch the tips user the girls just decided to get rid of me.

My first job was as a "teacher" for severely autistic children who also suffered from other issues. I was maybe 17, completely untrained. There was a girl who was barely even conscious, seemingly unable to do any voluntary movements, there was a guy a few years younger than me whose only joy was to watch what were essentially softcore porn music videos, and would punch himself in the head if he didn't get things his way, and this kid who was about 10 years old and pretty smart, but he was also mute and had cerebral palsy. Absolutely whooped my ass in chess, though.
Unsurprisingly, a year later there was a big scandal about how that school hired people who had 0 idea what they were doing.
