This is the same girl shooting up a school with a 22LR. Don't expect logic from that picture. If I was to shoot up a school my weapon of choice would be a Mossberg 500 with buckshot. Not that I would shoot up a school, but that would definitely be the most inexpensive and effective way to do it.

I agree with you that a shotgun would be the way to go, but is 22LR really that bad? I don't know too much about guns, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure most AR15s are chambered in .22, and while they aren't the best guns for the job, they seem to be fairly effective.

Right now I have the money saved to buy a used sports car. Not sure what, but something like a Corvette C5, early-mid 2000s WRX STi, older nissan 350/370Z. Something that I wouldn't want to own as a daily driver, but not totally jank either. Then I would fill up the tank with high octane, and rip around the mountains until the needle dips below empty and then hurdle myself off a cliff. I think about it a lot.

22LR is about the same sized round as .223/NATO 5.56, but it is a lot less ballistically powerful. It just isn't enough to penetrate and hit vital organs to make a quick kill. Sure, you can probably inflict some sucking wounds that will kill the person eventually if they don't get to an operating table, but what you want in a school shooting is the ability to inflict the most damage in the shortest amount of time. When you have to squeeze off two or three rounds a person to incapacitate them and prevent them from getting in your way, you just don't have the time to sweep. Plus, there is just not enough stopping power to drop someone if they try to rush you, which might happen if some dumb chad tries to play hero. a cheap 12ga with some heavy buckshot can wreck shit up and is more than enough to stop a rush and drop someone permanently. Also, on the upside you have to worry less about being accurate, and you might have the added bonus of nicking other targets in small spaces.

I would drive up north to this little cottage my family rented every year growing up. It's my favorite place in the world, filled with so many good memories. I would send my parent's a text explaining why I'm doing it and how sorry I am that I have to put them through this. In terms of mass (of the bullet) they are more similar than they are different, (40vs45gr for standard issue rounds) the issue is balistics, which is why the casing on .223/22lr is so much larger. That is what I said in my original post.

.22lr is CCI, which ranges from 32 - 40 grains.
NATO standard for .223 (XM193) is 55 grains
NATO standard for 5.56 (XM855) is 62 grains
