Once that is the case, you can then decide whether or not to confront your real father, or the man you used to call your father. If you confront the man who raised you, you must explain what he did hurt you, as much as you mother hurt him. He made you ashamed of your own existence, with no fault of yours.
On the other hand, if you can confirm your blood father, if you could still find him, you must explain the situation WITH your mother. If you can't, you are left with an alternative.
Don't do it. Try to find someone who still loves you, like an aunt, an uncle, either side of the family who is sympathetic to your pain. If this is all for naught, Let this help those who find them selves in this exact situation one day. Don't give up, cause even if you might not be true family, you were still raised by them, and deserve to be considered as such.
