a) big guys
b) pale nerds

Have a normal nose so you dont get hit while doing it, I do it with one rope only and its fine.

Use bands and hit your rotator cuff with external rotation. He literally talks about it in the video.
If you don't have anything to tie down the band to, tie a knot at one end of the band and put it on top of the other side of the doorframe and close the door.

Seasoned lifter here and very experienced in training others.

I've ignored instagram and youtube for good reason, so much bullshit on there. Face pulls are okay occasionally and with a rope, turn your thumbs downward while having your shoulders raised then pull towards your ears, squeeze your shoulder blades and slowly control this movement do not move wildly. This is based on my opinions and nothing i've viewed over the internet from these "Professionals"

I never understood how weak I was until I did these. I was so ashamed, I had to put the pin higher and higher up until there was almost nothing on it.

You really don't hit these during any other exercise it seems.

I heard you were to place the pin on the cable machine at around chest height, then pull to the face. Guess I was doing them wrong as Jeff has the pin at the top and pulls downward.

It's definitely easier to keep proper form if you put the pin above chest level I found.

My gym has just one rope as well. I'm going to try wrapping some towels around the regular handle and see if it works. I might get a good scolding though.

Bros I'm too much of a beta to hog both of my gym's ropes and I don't know if they have the belt thing. I'll try to force the rope taut to make the pull wider.
