My original plan was to eat more eggs for protein since I like eggs anyway, but I need a fridge and oven for that, and at my college dorm I don't have easy access to either. The lunchroom has a microwave, but that's about it, and as far as I can tell they don't serve eggs every day. Is there anything protein-rich that I can make with only a microwave? The nearest town is 6 miles away and I don't have a car.

Get a toaster oven and a mini-fridge
Check your facebook marketplace in your area. I regularly flip stuff on there and if there's others like me, you can find some nice toaster ovens. Large ones, too. Microwave sized.
A regular 2.2 cu ft mini fridge can go for $20-$40, and a larger 3ft tall one can go between $50-$80.
A nice toaster oven can go from $30-$60. I'd say it's worth it if you find a reputable seller.
Oh, also look up 'nuwave cooktop'. I have sold a couple of those too and those are ideal for dorm life.
It is a burner but heats your pan up, not itself. It uses induction, much like a wireless phone charger.
Well, you always have the option of canned tuna/meat

I eat a lot of canned chicken even though I have all the time in the world to cook frozen or fresh chicken if I wanted. I like it a lot. Shredded > chunks.

Seems like canned food is a recurring theme. I'll see if the local food lion has shredded chicken, it's a long walk with the groceries but its good cardio.

Also look into an electric griddle, or even a traditional hot plate.
Get an electric kettle too. Absolute godsend. I even use it to preheat and clean pans.
Properly layered dry ice and even a cheap cooler will do you well enough to not work for almost a week. Suggest you place it with respect to ventilation due to sublimination into carbon dioxide gas.
Poached eggs are underrated as well.
Canned anything is not a good option longterm. You will pay more and BPA is no joke.
Also tuna consumption should be 3 servings or less a week due to mercury.

Tuna has roughly 30 grams of protein per 100 grams.
Egg has roughly 13 grams of protein per 100 grams.
Legumes have roughly 15.
Chicken breast has 21, but tuna has more calories due to higher (beneficial) fat content.
Fryer thighs are cheaper, tastier and easier to cook.
Peel skin, season, wrap in foil, bake, strip off bone.
I believe those breast stats are pre-cooked.
I'll probably get the electric griddle first since it's smaller, so if I do get eggs I'll keep in mind that if I only buy a few at a time I won't need to refrigerate them.
Noted, I'm not a huge fan of prepackaged food for this reason (among others), but at least until I can get the stuff anons ITT recommended it seems that will be a necessity.

Nutrition stats I have gathered from Google, and it's hard to tell precooked stats from cooked.
Unless you are supplementing eggs have good micronutrient benefits, especially considering how cheap and quick to cook they they are.
I do bulk beans once a week. They take 3 hours to cook.
Electric griddle would probably be perfect for you, but be sure not to scratch the surface coating.
I sued to eat a ton of canned lentil soup and stopped when I learned how much BPA I was consuming. My pecs look better and I feel better now. I will still endure for convenience once a week.

If you can afford it, pumpkin and hemp seeds are one of the best sources of proteins and micros.
you can even get one of those fridges that are tiny for holding a six pack of soda that should be able to hold a bunch of eggs if a traditional mini fridge is too big.

Frenchfag here, eggs aren't even o a refrigerated shelf in supermarkets, just plain dry shelf.
I never put my eggs in the fridge and never had any problem. Then again food regulation in the US probably means hens are fed with such outlandish stuff their eggs won't even keep like they're supposed to.
You do not need to store eggs in a fridge you dingus.
in US the chicken are fed with growth hormone and IGF-1 etc along with pumped full of antibiotics (but salmonella itself isn't vaccinated...) so instead of vaccination they have constant feed of antibiotics which in return creates medicine resistant bacteria. US is such a great country. Literal stone age...

eggs do not require a fridge and can be cooked in a microwave, use a soup cup and make scrambled eggs, try removing and stirring work out the timing yourself.
are you in the south or somewhere hot? You don't need to refrigerate your eggs and when it gets hot you can just fry them outside with a pan on any hard surface.
