I’m approaching 90kg on my DL and I think I could probably get more out of it if I didn’t have pathetic grip. Any good programmes out there? Equipment, brands, etc? Thanks.
Grip strengthening

Hanging bars my dude
Take two towels and put on a pullup bar, use them to do pullips or just hang
here you go lad
deadlift double overhand
Also you can't deadlift 90kg, you should not be worrying about strengthening specific muscle groups
I can deadlift fine it’s just I can feel my grip starting to slip slightly and I know it’s only going to get worse as I put on more weight, just want to deal with it now.
I wank for grip strength, tf are you doing
Hang from bar with 2 hands, do so till failure twice everyday until you can hang for 45 sec to 1 min, then hang from each hand separatelt for as long as you can 2 times every day, your grip will strengthen very quickly
Note. This will fucking suck for the first week, and if you start getting chronic inflamation(tendonitis) Take a week or 2 off
no, your weight on deadlift will catch up as you continue to lift double overhand as it will be the limitation and will adapt accordingly. You can't deadlift 200 pounds. You do not need to be working on strengthening individual muscles to assist with your deadlift. Stop overanalyzing shit.
nigger can't hold the bar, how the fuck is he going to dl more.
improve grip strength by performing excercises that resemble DL. For your case the most efficient way is probably to lift the 90kg weight and hold on to it for as long as you can. try to beat your record each time.
Farmer walks, wrist rollers, pull ups.
You're a retard buddy. Your grip doesn't magically increase with your deadlift. It's probably most people's biggest limiting factor. I deadlift 370 and my grip is what keeps me from doing more reps.
>unironically posting jeff and his bullshit
this board is getting worse by the day
Literally this. Pull ups as well. 345 DL here no straps overhand grip.
Are you DYEL mode? I am asking because I am and I deadlift 95 kg, but some of the guys in my gym look huge and deadlift less, throw their weights, etc...
Your grip will get stronger with your deadlifts.
Wrist roller. A lot of.
Hookgrip
>He doesn't hook grip
Increasing my bench is what strengthened my grip more than anything else. I think bench is a really good forearm exercise if you're doing it heavy enough.
seriously how do you do a proper hook grip? My thumb hurts like hell when I try and it feels worse than regular overhand.
Spastic.
This board is full of retards.
Only triple iq posters itt
It's also a good indicator of stress. If you seem to be way worse doing a dead hang as you previosly were yoir nervous system is overloaded and you should maybe take it a little bit easier for a week.
I also noticed another thing. The first two years I started lifting I didn't pause my workout even once. My brother on the other hand was way more flexible and every few weeks he let one training session slip.
In th end he made better progress with resting more often than I did.
if you just want to check if your grip is holding you back straps are always the answer
Wrist roller 1
Wrist roller 2
DYITF?
damn this looks rustic as hell lmao who's out here making amish gains
You can get Captains of Crush grippers, they are expensive to get a decent set of them but they have strengthened my grip immensely, other than that I've just really done everything with double overhand grip, going to start throwing in some farmers walks on Deadlift days now
I hope thats for reps
I have a pretty strong grip really (best doh 215kg, 150kg on an axle) and don't do much specific grip work.
I use an axle for most of my barbell work and it does the trick.
hook grip?
Walk a barebell with either hand in a straight line, do a full turn and back don’t wobble or compensate, easy
>captian of cuck
>Not CHAD IVANKO
lmao post forearms you faggot
This. You don't have a weak point in your lift, you are just weak. With that being said, one thing you can do to help your grip is just grip the every living shit out of whatever you are holding on to for any exercise. I wouldnt change up your routine at this point to add in accessory work on your forearms.
They look cheap
I started putting a bit of chalk on my hands and my dl went up like .5pl8 immediately. I think farmer walks help a little bit too
It's all metal, and it doesn't look flimsy at all.
Moreover, you only need to buy one and by moving the springs up or down you can drastically change the poundage, without having to buy 5 fucking CoC grippers at several times the price.
Grippers won't carry over to dead lifting
bro I literally deadlifted 110kg yesterday after not deadlifting for months, your just weak.
Who cares what you're doing. The man is improving himself. Fuck off bittercunt
