Euro
1) Large amount of antibiotics in egg-laying hens
2) Clean eggs in a very gentle way that preserve cuticle of egg shell, but isn't as great at removing potential pathogens from outside of egg (but there isn't as much salmonella as usual because of the high antibiotic dosage)
3) Keep at any temperature, as long as cuticle is intact

America
1) Does not use large amount of antibiotics to attack salmonella in the living egg-laying hens
2) Cleans the eggs in an aggressive way that does very well at removing pathogens, but also removes the cuticle from the outside of the egg. Eggs with no cuticle do not last long without refrigeration
3) Keep eggs at refrigeration temp only
