I ran intermediate medium load and it killed me, can't imagine advanced medium load with your lifts

When I was running Sheiko for a while at 3/wk (intermediate) I found that small load for cut, medium for maintenance and large for slow bulk was pretty much my max before my joints and tendons got fucked, and I skipped a lot of accessories because of all the shit in the main lifts

A rubber band displays Hookean (linear) elasticity before its yield point, so there's no difference there. The difference is that chains pull down whereas bands pull towards the anchor point.

Chains are preferrable because the resistance they add to a lift can be easily measured.
