Cutting makes me miserable as I just feel skinny and lanky as soon as I've dropped a couple of lbs. So I'm one month in to a two month cut and looking in the mirror makes me want to cry and shove Mcdonalds down my throat until I feel thicc again.
Is this how women feel all the time
Same here dude. I've lost 8 pounds and feel like a skelly. Noticed a huge energy and motivation drop as well as compound lifts stagnating.
Cutting is so easy for me. I just don’t force feed myself like I do usually and the weight falls off. e1RMs are stagnating and even regressing, but I came off a low volume peaking phase so that was always going to happen.
I’m about 4 weeks in and I’m down from 106kg to 99kg. I’ll probably go as low as 92-94kg and see how I feel.

I have hit the point where I don't lose weight. I have only one meal a day (dinner) which is a balanced healthy meal. I stay hydrated with water and whey shakes. I work an active job. I cannot get my abs to pop out.

fasting/psmf makes it easy, i usually gain 20 lbs back every winter bc of traveling and shit but it comes off so quick

Protip: cut through the winter and leanbulk into summer. You'll feel better and be filled out instead of looking depleted and flat.
It's the deficit. Cutting reduces testosterone, so your motivation and drive takes a hit. Just power through and remember it's only a temporary dark period.

My cut reached 7 weeks today. I've dropped 13kg(29 lbs) and about 5 or 6% bf. I'm still fat at 26% so have many weeks ahead so i'm feeling not so good about it. All of June and July to go before really I will look ok and then I will just be dyel. The rosd to success was never quick or easy I guess
I'm doing a very slow cut, not taking the calorie counting too serious. Just sticking to a 9-15 eating window and working out every day. Getting slow progess in muscle strength but its hard to notice aside from being able to do 4 pull ups unaided instead of 0 five months ago.
This gut fat does not want to go away though.
I was eating around 3200/3000kcal and 87kg as maintenance before cutting, then dropped to 2400/2500kcal. Lost 8kg in 6 weeks, but again, looked like shit, lifts sunken, so slowly got back to maintenance, like +150kcal per week.
I kept losing some more weight, now barely holding at 77kg eating 3200kcal. Is this the miracle of reverse dieting?
I'm now considering 4wks minicuts at 800kcal, followed by 3-4wks reverse diet at 200kcal to cut "some" fat while not making me "that" miserable at the gym.

Cuts should end 4 weeks before your "summer deadline" to look/feel better.
Making room for more gains and vascularity. Higher BF lowers test. Also, some lifts feel much better: chins, dips, leg raises, so as sports/cardio in general.
