You can't just add on weight without thought though, you must keep in mind what best suits your frame.

I'm in pretty much the same range as op, my max weight was nearly 180lbs at around 12%bf, and while people said I looked big it wasn't aesthetic. It wasn't functional either, so for me to ignore these two things I'd have to be a powerlifting pig. I'd rather have less mass with more quality than just bloat and be able to use my body outside the gym as well. Not to mention eating pre cooked meals 4 or 5 times a day gets old fast, I don't want my entire life to be based around training.

Yeah this. If you get fucking thick and juicy then the height becomes much less noticeable. Manlets look ridiculous when they follow bodybuilding routines and try to look aesthetic, but if you can just get really heavy and look like you can ragdoll people then you're good.
