I’m specifically referring to doing that in the standing position. I’ve seen guys rest their arms on benches and curl the wrist up as they kneel on the ground and it’s the gayest exercise I’ve ever seen.

i do these while doing hanging leg raises. multi tasking. hurt my hands a lot but i refuse to wear gloves

Have a day in the week when you use kettlebells exclusively. Do one handed swings, cleans, learn the kettlebell long cycle and your forearms will be much stronger

Go rock climbing.

Take a dumbell, hold it by the not-handle, and toss it in the air so it flips 180 degrees. Catch it by the top (other not-handle) and stop it from hitting the ground. Repeat. Gets you a forearm pump fast.

You hang weight from it and twist it to pull up the weight while the rope winds up. One of the most tried and true forearm isolation exercises. As always though, use a variety of exercises for best results. Thick bars, heavy grip trainers like CoC, forearm curls, farmers walks, hangs, etc.
