What are your thoughts on the death penalty, robot?
Do you live in a state/country with it?
What kind of acts if any do you believe should incur it?

Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.
What you do should be visited upon you in turn.
It's a newborn, not a real person. this isn't even murder, just minor animal abuse and waste of meat lol.
Death penalty for wastes of oxygen like that woman.
(you)
Name 5 things that newborn had that made its life more or equally as worthwhile as your own.
I live in a state with capital punishment. Personally I think capital punishment should only be reserved for individuals convicted beyond a reasonable doubt of a crime that would require extreme malice and a disregard for human consciousness and life. (IE; rape, child killing, etc.)
I don't live in a place that has it. As for whether I believe in it, I think that ultimately depends on the place. A civilization that's not insanely rich can't afford to go housing serial murderers on the government dime, it's a level of generosity it shouldn't grant to people who have committed the worst crimes. But I think extremely rich societies shouldn't have the death penalty. If you can afford to simply keep someone away from the rest of society, and none of your citizens are poor even with all this money going to the prison system, then you should go with that option.
So basically I think China is right to have the death penalty and Norway is right to not have it, if that makes any sense. Basically under ideal circumstances, a society shouldn't be putting anyone to death, but the further away from that ideal a society is, the more they have to do so.
I'm guessing you're from China.
well the mother killing her newborn baby usually gets a much lesser punishment than the ordinary murder because it's considered to be committed in the post-birth psychosis, it's a very real stuff
>Postpartum psychosis is one of the leading causes of the murder of children less than one year of age, which occurs in about 8 per 100,000 births in the United States.[6]

as for your question the modern death penalty in the usa is a joke when people usually simply die from the old age in the prison from the natural causes and also unlike the ordinary life in prison inmates they don't have the same benefits of education, get more limited if any access to books, gym etc
>a crime that would require extreme malice and a disregard for human consciousness and life. (IE; rape
lol fucking what
So that should let them off? They went a bit baby mad so it's okay, it's not really their fault?
Prisons are full of men serving life sentences for having one bad day.
I live in Florida and we have the death penalty, only for the worst of crimes
This, rape just means you're horny and strong, pretty normal thing.
I believe some people deserve to die but I don't believe that the government should have the power to kill people.
Does that include war?
Ideally we could resolve that sort of thing diplomatically, but some wars are going to happen in self defense.
Does anybody here know why a lot of places have the death penalty for police officers but not ordinary murders? Or like if you kill a cop you're more likely to get the death penalty or something like that? This seems completely absurd to me. Cops fuck with innocent people more than probably any group in society, it's compeltely expected that they'll be involved in situations where they'll get shot.
>Prisons are full of men serving life sentences for having one bad day
not in europe
it's the system made by pigs and for pigs
also american law is beyond ridiculous
i recall that case when two negroes went to rob something, one of them tried to shoot the police and was shot by the police... they charged the remaining negro with the murder of the dead one because reasons, like he went with him so he is responsible for the actions that led to his death blah blah blah it's unjust and forced af
Although it's fucked up, it's her body, her choice. We gotta respect that she wanted to make some babies to slaughter.
When you attack the lawkeepers, you put everyone at risk.
Only for black women
only the pigs
They have the same thing in the UK. I believe it's called "Joint Enterprise".
sorry but to use it to charge somebody in murder of their partner who was shot by the police is ridiculous. certainly they could try to charge him with participating in attacking the police etc
The mere existence of police keeps the majority of people in line. When you attack them, dealing damage and taking them off the streets then you remove of the key things defending people from themselves.
An attack against police is an attack against the law and order that holds society together. That is why you are punished more harshly.
Of course, that should go both ways and any police abusing their position should be severely punished.
Oh shit nah I misread your post. Yeah, that is ridiculous.
a soul
a future
the capacity for love
potential to change the world
literally he or she was the future of our species
>any police abusing their position should be severely punished
kek
you mean they will look at a bodycam how he shoots a man standing on the knees and asking not to shoot him and decide that the officer is not guilty
You're at a greater risk of getting harmed if I attack you rather than a police officer
You're aIright.
z
haha so edgy fucking redditfag
So why don't we get some swedes to kill this woman and claim they were under mental strain?

How stupid do you have to be to not understand that life follows certain stages and you can't start directly as your 20 year old "useful" self that does any shit? Show me your deformed face, mouth breather.
I am in support of it.
State got rid of it, unfortunately. I only would want to see it used in cases where there is no doubt the person is guilty and only for the worst of crimes (eg. mass murder or attempted, serial killings, etc).
I don't think it will be an effective deterrent for those crimes. But I don't think that someone who has committed those crimes should be allowed to live comfortably in a jail cell for the rest of their days having performed a morally reprehensible act. All the while their existence is paid for by the taxpayer in some form or the other.
