Okay Jow Forums I need to ask, what would be the most beneficial military training regimen to follow for the best results? Or really any, I just want to improve my everything
pic unrelated
Okay Jow Forums I need to ask...
Look up the fitness test for Marine Corps Body Bearers, and work up to passing it. Congratulations, you found the only training regimen that isn't gay.
you mean train for the military or train like the military? its quite different desu
Train like the military. I have no plans on joining any military, I just want the gains from the training
there is no gains in training like them, most of them look fit because they are fit before entering, also because they walk a lot and dont eat much, perfect summer body desu
>Train like the military
Military basic training and active military fitness are completely different. You have to be specific.
What about recon short and long card? I'll see if I can find the pictures for them. Maybe do short card MWF, long card saturday?
Alright, then how about the toughest fitness requirements for a military in the world?
gee i dont know m8, maybe you should start with some normal requirements,im training for the foreign legion and it seems quite easy, 7 pullups, being able to swim 25m,beep test level 7, similar to being almost good in the cooper test. Can you do those things? if yes maybe look for royal marines/some special force but i dont really know if they even got that hard of requirements
hope you dont intend to join the foreign legion
why not? i hear a lot of people say that but no one says why
Just looked it up, looks like a lot but I'm still gonna try it
Thank you user
Looking back, I was being cocky when asking. I really shouldn't be when I'm no shape to do any of this, but thank you anyways.
its okay buddy, most of it is cardio so it has an easy progress, good luck.
if i were you i would start with c25k
I'm going to start tomorrow morning with c25k.
My original plan was to get to at least the poor range for the secret service fitness evaluation, I am in almost no shape to even do that. Hopefully c25k gets me a little bit closer to that
Thats the spirit! You should also be doing weight training and calisthenics, sheiko beginners routine would be good
I know this is the internet and everything is fake, but I train Navy SAR swimmers in Hawaii.
Some good workouts to try a few times a week are
Blood & Guts:
Swim 1 pool length, muscle ups out of the pool x15, swim back, scissors kicks x15 4-count (1, 2, 3, 1... 1, 2, 3, 2...)
For about 450 meters
PST
Max pullups, first 3 hold for 5 seconds at the top, max pushups, max crunches, 1.5 mile run, 450meter swim.
Rucks are a good one too, if you can comfortably fit about 20lbs. Of shit in a quality backpack, a solid 2 mile run, take it off, parallel dip walks of you have the bars for it.
Theres always doing Murph.
Inside the gym you could follow a regular strength routine, shock your body every once in a while by doing 65% of your max for a set of 20. Dog deep and dont let yourself quit.
pull ups
push ups
sit ups
1.5 or 3 mi run timed
compare to your branches PFA
Murph WOD x F
then you're kinda stupid tbqh
it's shit
join your own military and do cool guy stuff if you aren't a pussy and meet basic health requirements
Depends on your goals.

Military training basically follows a handbook that's supposed to apply to everyone in that branch of service. It leads to a lot of injuries and underachievers. I got better results by building a plan that was based on my specific needs. If you still want military training then it's mostly calisthenics and running.
My military doesnt deploy ever and the legion pays 7 times more, any other thing?
