There's a frame in it that's broken in some way, don't know the specifics. Most browsers just stop the gif, while discord is coded like shit so it tries to play it at any cost, which explodes phones. I BELIEVE one of the frames is like 65000x65000 or something, might be completely wrong though.

it's a shame that we aren't going to see any work on UT4 in a long time though, if at all.

it was shaping up to be really nice too, enough to the point where i keep my desktop shortcut for it and not 2004 at the moment.

I tried it but it just feels different to me.
My favorite is UT3, had so much fun in that game.

it's different in a good way to me, it feels a lot like a weird hybrid between UT99 and almost like Titanfall

i eventually got used to the sliding and wallrunning shit eventually, but honestly the maps in UT4 just don't really utilize either of those movement systems very well so i really only catch myself doing the usual dodges and such.

i did that using TranscluscentTB.
Also, created a shortcut to the executable and dropped it into the startups folder.

How do you make that windows style taskbar on Ubuntu?

I'm using ubuntu mate. The way I did it in mate was: control centre>MATE tweak>panel and choose netbook out of a list of available configurations. Then right click on the taskbar and set it to "bottom". Some more minor tweaking and configuration is involved as well, but I doubt you care.
